A pure wool pullover in a rich green color, with a stand-up collar and an elongated slanted shoulder line, turning into wide straight sleeves, made with a clear end-to-end pattern with small holes, which is not very noticeable, but emphasizes the fashionable nature of the model

You will need: 450 (550) 650 g green yarn (100% wool; 160 m/50 g); knitting needles No. 4; circular needles No. 4.

Knitting technique.
Elastic band, circular rows: the number of loops is a multiple of 6. Knit alternately 3 knits, 3 purls.

Facial surface: front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Through pattern: odd number of loops.
1st (= purl) row: knit all stitches.
2nd (= front) row: purl all stitches.
3rd row: knit all stitches.
4th row: knit all stitches.
5th row: edge, * purl 2 loops together, 1 yarn over, from * repeat, purl 1, edge.
Row 6: Knit all stitches.
Row 7: Knit all stitches.
Row 8: Purl all stitches.
Row 9: Knit all stitches.
Row 10: Knit all stitches.
11th row: edge, purl 1, * 1 yarn over, purl 2 loops together, from * repeat, edge.
Row 12: Knit all stitches.
Repeat rows 1–12.

Emphasized increases:
from the right edge = edge stitch, 1 stitch in stockinette stitch, from the transverse thread knit 1 stitch stitch;
from the left edge = knit according to the pattern until the last 2 loops, then from the transverse thread knit 1 knit stitch, 1 knit stitch, edge stitch.

Emphasized decreases:
from the right edge = edge stitch, 1 loop in stockinette stitch, knit 2 loops together with a slant to the left (= slip 1 loop like a knit stitch, 1 knit stitch, then pull it through the removed loop);
from the left edge = knit according to the pattern until the last 4 stitches, then knit 2 stitches together, 1 stitch in stockinette stitch, edge stitch.

Knitting density end-to-end pattern (slightly stretched in height): 20 loops and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Back: Cast on 107 (125) 143 stitches and knit in a through pattern, starting with 1 purl row.
For an elongated shoulder line, after 15.5 cm = 61 rows from the initial row, add 1 x 1 stitches on both sides and in each 2nd row 21 x 1 stitches = 151 (169) 187 loops. The added loops are gradually included in the end-to-end pattern.
After 27.5 cm = 109 rows (32 cm = 127 rows) 36.5 cm = 145 rows from the initial row, subtract 1 x 1 stitch on both sides for shoulder bevels and 36 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row.
After 46 cm = 184 rows (50.5 cm = 202 rows) 55 cm = 220 rows from the initial row, close 1 x 10 (19) 28 stitches on both sides and set aside the middle 57 loops.

Before: knit like a back.

Sleeves: cast on 65 (81) 97 loops on the knitting needles for each sleeve and knit with an end-to-end pattern, starting with 1 purl row.
After 28 cm = 111 rows (32.5 cm = 129 rows) 37 cm = 147 rows from the bar, close all loops.

Assembly: sew shoulder seams.
For the collar, transfer the set aside 114 neck stitches to circular needles and knit 9.5 cm with an elastic band. Bind off the stitches like knit stitches.
Sew in the sleeves. Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
