Sirloin knitting is always relevant, i.e. does not become obsolete and does not go out of fashion. Therefore, feel free to knit and enjoy.
Dimensions: 38/40 (42/44).
Materials:
- 500 (550) g turquoise yarn (100% polyacrylic, 250 m/50 g).
- Knitting needles No. 2.5,
- hook No. 2.5.
Rubber: alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.
Hook pattern: the number of loops is a multiple of 18 +1 double crochet. Knit according to the pattern. Repeat repeat stitches widthwise, ending with 1 double crochet. Instead of the 1st double crochet of each row, knit 3 lifting chain stitches. Repeat the pattern in height from the 1st to the 12th row.
Knitting density: 29.5 double crochets = 10 cm wide.
Description of work
Back: cast on 120 (130) loops on the knitting needles and knit with a 9 cm elastic band, then close all the loops according to the pattern. Along the closed edge, knit 163 (181) single crochets, then continue knitting according to the pattern. After 48 cm from the elastic band, leave the middle 51 loops unknitted for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the neckline, do not knit 3 stitches from the inner edge of the next row. After 50 cm from the elastic, leave the remaining 53 (62) shoulder loops undone.
Before: knit like a back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, after 44 cm from the elastic, leave the middle 33 loops unknitted and then, to round the neckline, do not knit 4 times 3 loops in each row.
Sleeves: cast on 70 (74) loops on the knitting needles and knit with an 8 cm elastic band, then bind off all loops according to the pattern. Along the closed edge, knit 145 single crochets and then knit according to the pattern. (For size 42/44, add 1 double crochet on both sides, starting from the elastic, 9 times in every 4th row = 163 stitches). After 36 cm from the elastic, leave all the loops unknitted.
Assembly: sew the seams, leaving the side seams at the top 24.5 (27.5) cm open for the armhole. Tie the neckline as follows: 2 rows of single crochets, one row: 1 single crochet, *3 double crochets in the next loop, 1 single crochet in the next loop, repeat from *. Sew in the sleeves.
