Crochet dress from Brazilian designer Katia Portes

Dimensions

For the dress, 500g of Turkish yarn Sarmasik 200m/50g was required:

• cotton 60%
• acrylic 20%
• viscose 20%

Clover hooks No. 2.25 – 2.5 – 2.75 – 3.00 mm.

First, we knit samples of patterns and floral motifs.

We crochet the floral motif No. 2.75 according to the patterns:

We knit three rows according to pattern 1. This is what we get:

Next we move on to diagram 2.

Using connecting columns we reach the third DC in our last row.

We make 5 VP, sc in dc of the 1st row (from diagram 1).

Further according to the pattern: 4 VP, RLS in the 3rd SSN of the 3rd row (from pattern 1), 4 VP, RLS in the 1st SSN row (from pattern 1), etc.

VP lifting, 6 sc for the first arc from VP.

For the dress we knit the following stripes of floral motifs:

The motifs are connected to each other while knitting the last row.

 We start knitting the dress from the waist. We knit the initial row like this: *4VP, DC in the first loop of the chain*, etc. The initial row can also be knitted with an elastic set of loops.

We knit the dress downwards in a tight pattern according to pattern 3:

We start crocheting number 2.25 and change it to a larger number every 6 rows. We knit the last rows of the dense pattern with crochet number 3.0mm.

Далее переходим на ажурный узор по схеме 4. Только вместо 3ССН провязываем 2ССН. Следим за количеством раппортов — на один цветочный мотив приходся 3 раппорта ажурного узора. Полоса из цветочных мотивов — 10 мотивов = 30раппортов.

The openwork stripes connecting the stripes of floral motifs depend on the length of the skirt. We calculate the remaining length, without the dense part and stripes of motifs, and divide in half.

In the last row of the first openwork part we tie up a strip of single motifs. Clinging to the pico sl st and dc.

Далее вяжем вторую ажурную полосу. Увеличиваем количество раппортов, расширяя полотно для соединения с двойной полосой цветочных мотивов. Широкая полоса цветочных мотивов — 14 мотивов = 42 раппорта ажурного узора. значит надо добрать 12 раппортов ажурного узора.

Also in the last row we tie a hem strip made of floral motifs. The skirt is ready.

Лиф платья вяжем ажурным узором по схеме 4 — 8см. Начинаем вязание крючком №2,5 — ажурный узор. Далее переходим на плотный узор 3 и меняем крючок на больший размер №2,75 — 3,0мм.

Вяжем до проймы и делим вязание на перед и спинку. По бокам оставляем для проймы 3-4 см. Далее прямо до линии плеч. Соединяем плечевые швы. Вырез горловины — лодочка, в ажуре эластичен и не требует дополнительной обработки.

Ввязываем рукава — крылышки в проймы.

And we finish the job with a mini frill on the bodice of the dress.
