“Turn” = each row from st. s/n start with 3 ch. lifting, which replace 1 tbsp. s/n in the description; end each row with 1 tbsp. s/n in the 3rd v.p. lifting the previous row.
1 P/ST. S/N / 1 P/ST. C 2/H
Knit as 1 tbsp. s/n / 1 tbsp. with 2/n, but do not knit the last loop on the hook.
3 stitches knitted together S/N/ST. C 2/H
At the beginning of the row: ¾ vp, perform 1 p/st. s/n / 1 p/st. with 2/n in the next 2 sts. knit s/n and 3 p. on hook together = 1 p.
At the end of the row: perform 1 tbsp. s/n / 1 tbsp. with 2/n in each of the last 3 sts, knit 4 sts on the hook together = 1 st.
4 stitches knitted together S/N/ST. C 2/H
Perform 1 st. s/n / 1 p/st. with 2/n in the next 4 sts. s/n, 5 p. knit together on hook = 1 p.
CLOSE LOOPES FOR ARMHOLE AND Neck
At the beginning of the row, knit chrome. (= chain of VP rise) on those loops that should be closed, and then start a new row here.
At the end of the row, knit to the stitches that should be closed and leave them undone. Turn the work around.
ATTENTION!
In areas where 1 stitch should be cast off at a time, you can knit 2 stitches instead. s/n together after/before v.p. rise.
INCREASE FOR FORMING A SHOULDER SPEED
Knit 2 tbsp on both sides. s/n in art. s/n after/before v.p. rise.
KNITTING DENSITY
19th century s/n x 9 rub. = 10 x 10 cm, crocheted with basic pattern No. 3.5.
IMPORTANT!
To get a product of the appropriate size, your knitting density sample must match the specified one, and first of all, in width. Therefore, before starting work, you should knit a sample pattern: make a chain of 25 vp. and knit 11 p. Art. s/n. Then count the loops on the middle section of the made sample, 10 cm long: if there are more than 19 stitches on this section, change the hook to a thicker one, if there are fewer, to a thinner one.
If the instructions indicate only one number, then it applies to all sizes.
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
BACK AND SHELVES
Knit in one piece.
Throw 1 stitch onto hook No. 4 with black thread and make a chain of 170 (186) 202 (218) chain stitches.
Go to hook No. 3.5, turn the work using 3 ch. rise and knit in the opposite direction for 1 tbsp. s/n in each v.p. chains = 170 (186) 202 (218) st. s/n, including 3 v.p. lifting (= 1 tbsp. s/n) = this is the 1st r. pattern.
Continue knitting with the main pattern until the end of the work, making stripes in the indicated sequence.
After 60 cm, divide the work into the back and shelves.
BACK
Knit on medium 86 (94) 102 (110) sts. s/n.
Attach a marker in the middle of the back.
At an armhole height of 23 (24) 25 (26) cm from the marker, close off the stitches for the neckline: leave the middle 24 (26) 26 (28) stitches unknitted and finish both sides separately.
In the next row, close off 2 stitches from the inner edge to round the cutout - 29 (32) 36 (39) shoulder stitches remain on the hook.
RIGHT SHELF
Knit on outer 42 (46) 50 (54) sts.
When there are 11 cm left to the end of the part (= to the beginning of the shoulder, check along the back), knit the rounded edge of the neckline.
Close 4, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 (5, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1) 5, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 (5, 3, 3, 2, 1, 1) p . = 29 (32) 36 (39) shoulder stitches remain on the hook.
Having tied it to shoulder height (check along the back), finish the work.
LEFT SHELF
Knit like the right front, but in a mirror image.
SLEEVES
Throw 1 stitch onto hook No. 4 with black thread and make a chain of 54 (58) 62 (66) chain stitches.
Go to hook No. 3.5, turn the work using 3 ch. rise and knit in the opposite direction for 1 tbsp. s/n in each v.p. (1st row of pattern) = 54 (58) 62 (66) st. s/n (including 3 vp = 1 st. s/n).
After 12 p.m. add loops to bevel the sleeves (make increases as described above). Perform these increases every time 2 or 3 rows are knitted in a row according to the pattern. Art. s/n = if there are 3 such rows in a row, increase in the first and last row, and if 2 p. in a row, then in each row.
After 39 r. knit 1 more r. turquoise and 1 r. black thread = 88 (92) 96 (100) p., and finish the work.
ASSEMBLY
Sew shoulder and sleeve seams. Sew in the sleeves.
BAKE
Using hook No. 3 with black thread, tie the edges of the neckline 1 r. Art. b/n (the edge should not be too tight or too loose), then knit 1 r. Art. s/n (= 1 st. s/n in each st. b/n.).
FRONT STRAPS
Knit as described for binding.
