Openwork pullover with round yoke
Dimensions: 36/38 (46/48)
You will need: yarn (76% cotton, 14% wool, 10% alpaca wool; 300 m/50 g) – 200 (300) g blue and white; circular knitting needles No. 3.5, length 80 cm; circular knitting needles No. 4, length 80 and 100 cm; 1 set of double needles No. 3,5 and 4.
Pattern 1 (knitting needles No. 3.5): rib = circular rows (even number of stitches).
All circular rows: alternately 1 knit crossed, 1 purl.
Knit the following patterns on size 4 needles in circular rows.
Pattern 2: stockinette stitch = knit stitches only.
Pattern 3: openwork pattern A (the number of loops is a multiple of 25) = knit according to. diagram 1. It shows odd circular rows. In even circular rows, knit loops according to the pattern, knit yarn overs. Repeat rapport constantly. Perform the 1-24th circle 1 time, r., then constantly repeat the 13-24th circle. R.
Back/front:
Using a double thread, cast on 250 (300) sts on the needles and close the work into a ring. For clarity, mark the beginning of the circular row; it forms the right side line. For the bottom bar, knit 2 cm = 5 circles. R. pattern 1. Continue working with the thread in one addition with pattern 2.
After 12 cm = 44 circle, p from the bottom bar, continue working with pattern 3 = 10 (12) repeats. For the edge of sewing the sleeve in a 60 (72nd) circle, from changing the pattern, close the first 11 sts, then knit 102 (127) sts for the back, bind off the next 23 sts, knit 102 (127) sts for the front and bind off the remaining 12 stitches; Sleeve sewing edge = 23 p.
Pattern 4: openwork pattern B (the number of loops at the beginning is a multiple of 25) = knit as pattern 3, but acc. diagram 2. For size 1, perform 1-54th circle 1 time. R. For size 2, perform the 1st-12th circle once. r., then perform the 1st-54th circle 1 time. R. = total 54 (66) laps. R.
Knitting density: pattern 2 – 27 p x 36.5 circle. R. = 10 x 10 cm; patterns 3 and 4-27p. x33 circle. R. = 10 x 10 cm.
Attention: knit the back with the front and sleeves in a “seamless” way in circular rows, respectively. For technical reasons, the round yoke on the pattern is shown separately = above the corresponding part.
After 18 cm = 60 circle. R. (22 cm = 72 circles, r.) from changing the pattern or after 30 cm = 104 circles. R. (34 cm = 116 round, r.) Set aside 102 (127) sts from the bottom bar.
Sleeves:
With a double thread, cast on 50 (60) sts on the knitting needles for each sleeve, distribute 12/13/12/13 sts (15/15/15/15 sts) onto 4 stocking needles No. 3.5 and close the work in ring: mark the beginning of the round, it forms the lower center line of the sleeve.
For the strap, knit 8 cm = 25 circles. R. pattern 1. Continue working with the thread in one addition with pattern 2, while in the 1st circle. R. knit 25 times from each 2nd p. 1 knit and 1 knit crossed (evenly add 40 x 1 knit crossed from the transverse thread) = 75 (100) p.
After 14 cm = 52 circle. R. From the bar, continue working with a pattern of 3 = 3 (4) repeats. Advice for clarity: continue working on 3 (4) knitting needles + 1 working knitting needle in circular rows and from the beginning of the circular row, place 25 sts on 1 knitting needle = 1 repeat.
For the edge of sewing the sleeves in the 72nd circle. R. from changing the pattern, close 11 sts, knit 52 (77) sts and bind off the remaining 12 sts; sewing edges = 23 sts.
After 22 cm = 72 circles. R. from changing the pattern or after 36 cm = 124 circle. R. set aside 52 (77) sts from the bar.
Round yoke:
The loops of the back, 1st sleeve, front and 2nd sleeves are alternately transferred to long circular needles No. 4 = 308 (408) sts. Start all parts and finish with 2 purls. Next, knit the pattern in 4 circular rows, with the 1st round. R. At the beginning and end of each piece, knit 2 stitches together, purlwise.
Attention: these decreases are not shown in the diagram, only the resulting purl loop is shown here = 300 (400) sts. Attention: back and front = 4 (5) repeats in width; sleeves = 2 (3) repeats in width.
To give shape after 6.5 cm = 22 circles. R. (10.5 cm = 34 circles, r.) from the beginning of knitting the yoke, begin to make decreases and in each rapport according to. decrease the pattern by a total of 10 stitches. If necessary, switch to shorter circular needles No. 4.
After 16 cm = 54 circle. R. (20 cm = 66 round, r.) From the beginning of knitting the yoke on the knitting needles, there will be another 180 (240) stitches left. Then for size 2, knit 1 round. R. with knit stitches, knit every 3rd and 4th stitch 60 times. Knit stitch together = 180 stitches.
Then, for the neck binding, continue working on circular knitting needles No. 3.5 with double thread pattern 1. With a binding width of 2 cm = 5 circle. R. bind off all stitches like knit stitches.
Please note: the binding is not shown on the pattern.
Assembly:
Sew the sleeves to the front and back.
