Asymmetrical silver dress

knitted dress

The flared hem with an asymmetrical hem follows every movement, and the combination of openwork and mesh looks extremely attractive.

SIZES 36/38 (40/42)

YOU WILL NEED

Yarn (70% viscose, 30% silk; 125 m/50 g) - 600 (650) g silver-gray; knitting needles No. 4; circular knitting needles No. 3.

PATTERNS AND DIAGRAMS

Knit the dress on needles No. 4. Use circular knitting needles only for twisted planks.

PLANK PATTERN

1 purl row with knit, 1 knit and 1 purl row with purl = 3 rows in total.

shawl stitch

Front and back rows - front loops.

RURAL STAIN STITCH

Front rows - purl loops, purl rows - front loops.

MESH PATTERN

The number of loops is a multiple of 6 + 3 = knit according to. diagram 1. It shows the front and back rows. Start with loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat constantly, finish with loops after the repeat. Constantly repeat rows 1-4.

CENTRAL PATTERN (50 LOOPS)

Knit according to diagram 2. In the lower half of the repeat, only the front rows are given in height; in the purl rows, knit all the loops according to the pattern, and purl the yarn overs. In the upper half of the rapport, front and back rows are given. Start with loops before repeat, repeat repeat 2 times, finish with loops after repeat. Constantly repeat rows 1-24.

FACIAL SMOOTH

Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

EMPHASIZED DECREASES

At the beginning of the row = edge stitch, knit 2 stitches together with a slant to the left (= slip 1 stitch like a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop); at the end of the row = 2 stitches, knit together the front, edge.

KNITTING DENSITY

side bar - 4 p. = 1 cm;
23 p. x 33 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a mesh pattern;
central pattern - 50 p. = 17 cm;
24 p. x 31 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in stockinette stitch.

COMPLETING OF THE WORK

BACK

Cast on 220 (232) sts on knitting needles and for the placket, knit 1 cm = 3 rows with the placket pattern.

Continue working as follows: 3 sts in garter stitch + 1 st in purl stitch (= 4 sts.
side placket), 81 (87) p. with a mesh pattern, 50 p. with a central pattern, 81 (87) p. with a mesh pattern, 1 p. purl stitch + 3 p. garter stitch (= 4 p. side placket).

After 29 cm = 96 rows from the bar, close 1 x 51 p. for the corners on both sides. On the remaining 118 (130) p. continue working as follows: edge, 33 (39) p. with a mesh pattern, 50 p. with a central pattern, 33 (39) stitches with mesh pattern, edge.

After 32.5 cm = 108 rows from the bar, continue working on the loops of pattern 4 with stockinette stitch, continue pattern 5 further.

Attention

Reducing the width due to different knitting densities is shown on the pattern as a short bevel.

After 2.5 cm = 8 rows (2 cm = 6 rows) from changing the pattern, subtract 1 x 1 p. for a trapezoidal silhouette on both sides, then in every 10th row 7 x 1 p. (in every 8th row 9 x 1 p.) = 102 (110) p.

After 30.5 cm = 94 rows (28.5 cm = 88 rows) from changing the pattern, close the armholes on both sides with 1 x 4 p. and in every 2nd row 1 x 3 p. and 1 x 2 p., then, underline, decrease in every 2nd row 16 (19) x 1 p. = 52 (54) p.

After 42.5 cm = 132 rows from changing the pattern, close the middle 34 sts for the neckline and continue working on the remaining 9 (10) sts of the straps according to. pattern, i.e. continue to perform crossings, knit the remaining loops between the edge stitches on both sides using purl stitch.

After 11.5 cm = 36 rows from the start of knitting the straps - or upon reaching the required length (try it on!) - close off all the loops according to the pattern.

BEFORE

Knit like a back, but with a deeper neckline. To do this, already after 40 cm = 124 rows from changing the pattern, close the middle 34 sts and finish the straps according to. pattern at the height of the back.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the seams of the straps and side seams, as well as the seams of the upper edges of the corners (= closed 51 stitches).

For narrow twisted strips, cast on 116 sts on circular needles along the edge of the neckline, 98 (106) sts along the edges of the armholes, knit 2 circular rows respectively, then bind off the loops like knit stitches.
