Golden yellow pullover
Dimensions: 36-38 (42/44) (48-50)
You will need: yarn (50% sheep wool, 50% polyacrylic; 2080 m / 400 g) - 400 g golden yellow; knitting needles No. 2.5 and 3; circular knitting needles No. 2.5, 40 cm long.
Knitting density: 22 p. x 36 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Basic pattern knit with needles No. 3: stockinette stitch = knit. rows - persons. loops, purl rows - purl. loops.
openwork pattern, knitting needles No. 3: knit according to the appropriate pattern. The diagrams show only the front rows. In purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern, knit yarn overs purl. The diagrams show only the beginning of the “leaf” rows.
Elastic band knit with needles No. 2.5: knit alternately 2 knits, 2 purls.
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
Back: cast on 102 (114/126) sts and knit 9 cm with an elastic band, while in the last row evenly add 17 sts = 119 (131/143) sts.
Knit straight fabric using purl stitch. At a height of 62 (63/64) cm, close off the middle 35 stitches for the neckline, close off on both sides of them in every 2nd row. 2 times 3 p.
At a height of 64 (65/66) cm, bind off the remaining shoulder loops.
Before: knit like a back, but after the elastic on the middle loop, start an openwork pattern. From 1st to 38th r. knit as indicated, then from the 39th r. knit another 6 (7/8) “leaves” on both sides at the same distance as the outer “leaves” shown in the diagram.
For the next rows of “leaves”, knit another 6 (7/8) “leaves” in the same way to the side edges, continue the inclined openwork stripes to the side edges.
To start the next rows of “leaves”, repeat from the 53rd to the 86th row.
At a height of 58 (59/60) cm, close off the middle 19 stitches for the neckline, close off on both sides of them in every 2nd row. 2 times 3, 2 times 2 and 4 times 1 p.
At a height of 64 (65/66) cm, bind off the remaining shoulder loops.
Sleeves: cast on 46 (50/54) sts and knit 6 cm with an elastic band. In the last row, evenly add 13 (13/15) sts = 59 (63/69) sts. Continue working with the purl stitch and at the same time start an openwork pattern on the middle loop, while in the 1st “leaf” add 6 sts = 65 (69/75) p.
Then, as described for the front, move the “leaves” on both sides to the outer edges and continue the inclined openwork stripes. At the same time, for bevels, add on both sides alternately in every 4th and 6th row. 10 times 1 p., then in every 4th r. 18 times 1 p. = 121 (125/131) p.
At a height of 41 cm, close all loops.
Knit the second sleeve in the same way.
Assembly: Pin the connected parts onto the pattern, moisten them with a spray bottle and let them dry. Sew seams and sleeves.
Along the edge of the neckline, cast on approx. 124 sts and knit 2 cm with an elastic band.
