Pullover with openwork pattern and braids

A chic white cotton pullover is a must-have item in your summer wardrobe. In this model, narrow braids alternate with an openwork pattern.

Sizes: 36/38 and 46/48.

Materials: yarn (52% cotton. 48% polyacrylic: 115 m/50 g) – 700 (850) g white.

Knitting needles No. 2.5 and 3.5; circular knitting needles No. 2.5, 40 cm long.

Basic pattern, knitting needles No. 3.5: knit according to the pattern. The diagram shows only the front rows. In purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern, knit yarn overs purl. At 1 p.m. add loops as indicated, while retreating from the right and left edges, see Symbols. After the 1st and 2nd r. repeat from the 3rd to the 18th row.

Knitting density:

26 l. x32r. = 10x10cm.

Elastic band, knitting needles No. 2.5: the number of loops is a multiple of 3.
1st row: (purl row) chrome, knit 1, * purl 2, knit 1, repeat from *, chrome.
2nd row: (knit row) chrome, purl 1, * leave 1 stitch on the auxiliary needle while working, knit 1, then knit a knit stitch from the auxiliary needle, purl 1, repeat from *, chrome .
Repeat rows 1 and 2.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Back: cast on 114 (135) sts and knit 6 cm with an elastic band. Next, knit with the main pattern as follows: edge.. 5 (6) repeats, from the 1st to the 8th repeat stitches. chrome = 140 (166) p. after the 1st row.

At a height of 64 (69) cm, close the middle 38 (44) sts for the neckline. On both sides of them close in every 2 r. 2 times 3 p. At the same time, for the shoulder bevels, close in every 2 r. 3 times 11 and 1 time 12 sts (1 time 13 and 3 times 14 sts).

Before: knit like a back, but at a height of 56 (61) cm close the middle 22 (28) sts.. on both sides of them close in every 2 r. 2 times 3 times, 2 times 2 times and 4 times 1 point each. At a height of 64 (69) cm, perform shoulder bevels, as on the back.

Sleeves: cast on 60 (72) sts and knit 6 cm with an elastic band. Next, knit with the main pattern, while in 1 r. knit like this: chrome.. from the 9th to 26th stitches of repeat and 2 repeats (chrome, 3 repeats, from 1st to 8th stitches of repeat), chrome. = 72 (88) p. For bevels, add on both sides every 4th p. 25 times 1 p., then alternately in every 2nd and 4th r. 8 times 1 p. = 138 (154) p. At a height of 46 cm, close all loops.

Assembly: Pin the pieces onto the pattern, moisten them and let them dry. Sew seams and sleeves.

Along the edge of the neckline, cast on approx. 114 (126) sts and knit 3 cm with an elastic band, while in odd rows knit alternately 2 knits.. 1 purl.. in even rows knit, as in the front rows from *.
