Description of work

Bottom part: Using a double thread, cast on 44 sts and, starting from the right half of the back, knit 1 purl. R. purl This row is not taken into account in further calculations. After 70 cm (measured using openwork pattern) = 60 cm (measured using garter stitch) = 160 rub. From the cast-on edge, close all loops.

Top part: Using a double thread, cast on 44 sts and, starting from the right half of the back, knit 1 purl. R. purl Then knit as follows: 32 stitches of the openwork pattern, then for the neckline, 10 stitches of garter stitch and 1 edge. After 98 cm (measured using openwork pattern) = 84 cm (measured using garter stitch) = RUR 224. From the cast-on edge, close all loops.

Assembly: On the top and bottom parts, sew the cast-on edge with the closed edge = middle of the back. Sew the upper and lower parts in the middle of the front and back so that the armholes remain open on the lower part on both sides with 0.5 vertical repeats and on the upper parts with 1.5 vertical repeats on both sides.
Tie the neckline with double thread in 1 round. “crawfish step” (= st. b/n from left to right), while fitting the cutout to a circumference of 74 cm or to the desired size.
