Knitted purple dress

An elegant purple dress with multi-colored waves along the hem - what could be better for a vacation by the sea?.. You won’t be hot in it even in the July heat: the openwork fabric made of natural yarn is perfectly ventilated.

The description states that the model is knitted from bamboo thread - it is completely replaceable with linen and cotton, which is more familiar to needlewomen in our latitudes. By the way, note: this knitted dress does not require lining, which reduces the time it takes to work on it.

You will need: 650 g of Vita Fancy “BAMBOO” yarn (100 % bamboo; 125 m/50 g), of which 550 g purple, 50 g dark purple, 50 g white; knitting needles No. 4; auxiliary knitting needle; hook number 4.

Types of patterns: On the knitting needles: purl stitch (knit. r. – purl. st., purl. r. – knit. st.), garter stitch (knit. and purl. r. – knit. p.); semi-patent elastic band 1/1: 1st row: * K1. p., 1 p. p. *, repeat from * to *; 2nd row: * Slip 1 p. (thread in front of the loop), k1. n. repeat from * to *. 

wave pattern: knit according to the pattern; 

braid pattern: knit according to the pattern. Knit stitches wide before rapport, repeat repeat, end with loops after repeat.

Fantasy pattern: 1st row: * K3. p., from 3 p. knit 3 p. (1 knit p., 1 yarn over, 1 knit p.) *, repeat from * to *: 2nd, 4th rows: purl. st. 3rd row: * from 3 sts, knit 3 sts (1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch), k3. p. *, repeat from * to *. Repeat in height from rows 1 to 4.

Then knit with a fancy pattern according to the diagram.

To design the armhole line in 138 r. from the beginning of knitting, close 5 sts on both sides, then in every 2nd p. 1 time for 2 sts. On knitting needles = 60 sts. To design the neck line in 148 r. from the beginning of knitting, close the middle 34 sts. On knitting needles = 13 sts. In 178 r. From the beginning of knitting, close all the loops in one row.
