The women's sweater from Quail Studios for Rowan features a T-line silhouette, wide ¾ sleeves and a high turn-down collar. The sweater consists of a front and a back. The sleeves are knitted together with the body of the sweater from cast-on stitches in one piece. The sweater is decorated with a pattern with braids.

For chest circumference 81, 86, 91,97,102,107 cm

You will need Rowan Brushed Fleece yarn (65% wool, 30% alpaca, 5% polyamide). 150 m / 50 g 9,9,9,10,10,10 skeins; knitting needles 6 mm and 6.5 mm; additional needle for knitting braids, loop holder

Knitting density 14 stitches and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm in purl stitch using 6 mm needles

Rear end

Using knitting needles of a smaller diameter, cast on 82/82/82/86/86/86 sts and knit an 8 cm elastic band two by two.
The main knitting for the back of the pullover is purl stitch.
Change the tool to a larger one and continue with the main pattern until the height is 41/41/42/42/44/44 cm.
On both sides for a one-piece sleeve, pick up 32/32/34/34/36/36 p. (=146/146/150/154/158/158 p.) and knit to the maximum height of the sweater (see above).

Front end

The front cuff is made like the back of a jumper, but with 1 row less. In the next row, redistribute the loops like this: 6/6/6/8/8/8 rib sts, add 1 p. from the next 4, 8 rib sts, add 1 p. from the next. 4, 14 p. elastic, approx. 1 p. from the following. 9, 13 p. district, approx. 1 p. from the following. 4, 10 p. elastic, approx. 1 p. from the following. 4, 6/6/6/8/8/8 p. district (=107/107/107/111/111/111 p.).
Change the needles to No. 6.5 and distribute sts like this: 5/5/5/7/7/7 p., 10 p. braids, 6 p., 10 p. braids, 6 p., 3 knits, 6 p. ., 15 p. Celtic pattern, 6 p., 3 knits, 6 p., 10 p. braids, 6 p., 10 p. braids, 5/5/5/7/7/7 p.

Braid pattern with 10 loops:
1 p.: 10 sts.;
2 and all even: how the loops look;
3 p.: remove 5 sts on an additional knitting needle before work, knit 5, loops with extra. sp. perform persons;
5 rubles: same as 1st ruble;
7 rubles: same as 3rd rub.

Scheme of the Celtic pattern for 15 points:
1st row: 15 faces;
2 and all even: according to the picture;
3 p.: 3 p., (3 p. remove on an additional sp. before work, knit 3, p. with an additional sp. knit knit.) – 2 p.;
5 rubles: same as 1st row;
7 p.: (3 p. re-slip on additional sp. at work, knit 3, p. with additional sp. knit.) – 2 p., purl 3;

To complete the front of the pullover, perform these 8 r. up to length 41/41/42/42/44/44 cm.
Add 32/32/34/36/36 stitches on both sides (=171/171/175/179/183/183 stitches and purl the included stitches.
Continue knitting until the length is 56/56/57/57/58/58 cm.

How to knit a neckline

Knit 74/74/76/78/80/80 sts according to the main stitch, turn around and leave the remaining sts on the auxiliary sp.
Next R. knit 2 stitches, and knit the other 2 stitches together to finish the row.
Next R. knit in main stitch until the last 4 sts, 2 together, 2 sts according to pattern.
Repeat these 2 times. until the needles are 55/55/57/58/60/60 sts.
Further rows without decreasing to the same length as on the back.

Opposite side of the neckline: put 23 stitches on the loop holder and complete the second part in the same way.

Assembly

Sew the seam along the right shoulder. Using knitting needles No. 6, start from the left shoulder and lift 15 sts from the left section of the throat, add 23 sts from the loop holder, 15 sts from the right section of the neck, 40 sts along the back (=94 sts).
Knit with an elastic band two by two 15 cm.

Cuffs

Sp. No. 6 raise 32 sts along the edge of the sleeve and perform 6 r. rubber bands.

If desired, you can make a sweater with longer sleeves. Those who are familiar with calculating loops will easily cope with the task.
