Black and white in different combinations are the basis of this strict men's jumper.

Yarn (35% alpaca wool, 35% polyamide, 30% sheep wool; 375 m/50 g) - 150 (200-250-300) g black and 100 (150-200-250) g undyed white wool; knitting needles No. 3,5 and 4; circular knitting needles No. 3.5, 40 cm long.

Sequence of stripes A

On knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 86 (94-102-106) sts with double black thread and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm = 13 r. with an elastic band, while in the 1st p. (= purl row) start after chrome. with 1 purl, 2 knits, 2 purl. and finish symmetrically.

Then knit on needles No. 4 in stockinette stitch in the following sequence: chrome, 32 (36-40-42) sts with double thread (= 1 thread each black and white), 52 (56-60-62) sts, changing colors in sequence A, chrome.

After 35 cm = 84 r. from the bottom bar of the loop, distribute as follows: chrome, 52 (56-60-62) sts, changing colors in sequence B, 32 (36-40-42) sts with double black thread, chrome.

After 52 (54-56-58) cm = 124 (130-134-140) r. from the bottom bar, close on both sides for shoulder bevels 1 time, 6 (7-7-8) p., then in every 2nd p. 1 time for 6 points and 3 times for 5 points (4 times for 6 points - 4 times for 7 points - 1 time for 8 points and 3 times for 7 points).

After 1 cm = 2 r. from the beginning of the shoulder bevels, close the middle 22 stitches for the neckline and finish the left side first.

To round the neckline, close along the inner edge in every 2nd r. 1 time 3 p. and 1 time 2 p.

Before

Knit like a back, but for a deeper neck close off the middle 12 stitches after 46.5 (48.5-50.5-52.5) cm = 112 (116-122-126) r. from the bottom bar and finish the left side first.

To round the neckline, close along the inner edge in every 2nd r. 10 times 1 p.

Left sleeve

On knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 34 (38-40-44) sts with double black thread and for the placket knit 6 cm = 13 r. with an elastic band, while in the 1st p. (= purl row) start after chrome. with 1 purl, 2 knits, 2 purl. (p1, k2, p2 - k2, p2 - k2, p2) and finish symmetrically.

Next, knit on needles No. 4 in stockinette stitch.

For bevels, add 17 (13-11-9) rubles on both sides. from the bar 1 time, 1 p., then in every 16th r. 3 times and every 14th r. 3 times (every 12th row 6 times and every 10th row 2 times – every 10th row 9 times – every 8th row 11 times) 1 p. = 48 ( 56-60-68) p.

After 50 (48-46-44) cm = 120 (116-110-106) r. close all loops from the bar.

Right sleeve

Knit in the same way, with a double thread (= one black thread and one white thread).

Assembly

Sew shoulder seams.

On circular knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 92 sts with double black thread along the edge of the neckline and knit 5 cm = 11 rounds. with an elastic band. Close the loops.

Turn the binding to the wrong side half the width and sew it on. Sew in the sleeves. Sew sleeve seams and side seams.
