Pullover with a striking jacquard pattern at the top front and
back and imitating the color of a zebra, warm and soft to the touch. The secret is
that the pullover is knitted mainly with black thread from wool blend yarn,
which has a delicate pile, and the white yarn is made from pure
natural wool
Sizes: 36/38 (40/42) 44/46
Russian sizes: 42/44 (46/48) 50/52
You will need: 300 (350) 400 g of black yarn (62% wool, 25% cotton, 12% polyamide, 1% elastane; 135 m/50 g) and 100 (100) 150 g of white yarn (100% wool; 80 m/50 g); knitting needles No. 4 and 4.5; circular needles No. 4.
Knitting technique.
Rubber: odd number of loops.
Front rows: edge, alternately 1 purl, 1 front, finish with 1 purl, edge.
Purl rows: knit loops according to the pattern.
Facial surface: front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Jacquard pattern: the number of loops is a multiple of 40 + 15 (21) 31 + 2 edge loops. Knit according to the counted pattern in stockinette stitch using the Norwegian technique, with the unused thread being pulled through freely on the wrong side of the work. Start with a loop in front of the right arrow, constantly repeat the repeat of 40 loops between the arrows, finish with the first 15 (21) 31 repeat loops and 1 edge loop. Complete rows 1–44 once.
Knitting density.
Jacquard pattern: 18.5 stitches and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Stockinette stitch: 14 stitches and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Back: With black thread, on needles No. 4, cast on 73 (79) 85 loops and for the bottom bar, knit 4 cm = 10 rows with an elastic band. Continue working on needles No. 4.5 in stockinette stitch.
After 35.5 cm = 92 rows (38.5 cm = 100 rows) 39 cm = 102 rows from the bottom bar, evenly add 12 (12) 14 loops in the next 2 rows = 97 (103) 113 loops. Continue working with the jacquard pattern.
After 58 cm = 138 rows (60 cm = 144 rows) 62 cm = 150 rows from the bottom bar, close all the loops, of which the middle 61 (65) 69 loops form the neck, the outer 18 (19) 22 loops form the shoulders.
Before: knit like a back.
Sleeves: Using black thread on needles No. 4, cast on 31 (33) 37 loops for each sleeve and knit 4 cm = 10 rows with an elastic band for the placket. Continue working on needles No. 4.5 in stockinette stitch, while in the 1st row evenly add 6 loops = 37 (39) 43 loops.
For bevels, add 1 x 1 p. on both sides in the 15 (13) 13th row, then in every 14th row 2 x 1 p. and in every 12th row 5 x 1 p. m row 4 x 1 p. and in every 10th row 5 x 1 p.) in the next 12th row 1 x 1 p. and in every 10th row 9 x 1 p. = 53 (59) 65 loops .
After 44 cm = 114 rows (46 cm = 120 rows) 48 cm = 124 rows from the bar, close all loops.
Assembly: sew shoulder seams.
For the neckline, use black thread to cast on 120 (126) 132 stitches on circular needles along the edge of the neckline and purl 1 round row. Bind off the stitches like purl stitches.
Sew in the sleeves. Sew sleeve seams and side seams.
