Openwork oversized pullover knitted

Scheme of an openwork pullover with knitting needles. Summer pullover with knitting needles with a V-shaped neckline, knitted from cotton with openwork patterns.

Size: 36/40

You will need: yarn (100% cotton; 80 m/50 g) - 800 g light turquoise; knitting needles No. 4 and 5; circular knitting needles No. 4.

Rubber. Rows in forward and reverse directions (odd number of loops).

Front rows: edge, alternately 1 knit crossed, 1 purl, finish with 1 knit crossed, edge.

Purl rows: edge, alternately 1 purl crossed, 1 knit, finish with 1 purl crossed, edge.

Circular rows (even number of loops) = alternately 1 knit crossed, 1 purl.

Scalloped pattern with "Braids". The number of loops is a multiple of 36 + 1 + 2 edge loops = knit according to. diagram 1. It shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the yarn overs with the knit stitches.

Start with 1 edge, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with a loop after the repeat and 1 edge. Repeat rows 1-18 constantly.

Reductions for the front neckline. Knit according to diagram 2. It shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern. The last 19 stitches of the 2nd repeat, the middle loop (= 1st stitch of the 3rd repeat), as well as the 2-20th stitch of the 3rd repeat are shown. Complete rows 91-126 once. In connection with the pattern, in this way, in every 2nd row, 18 x 1 stitches are decreased along the edge of the neckline.

Knitting density: 25 p. x 26 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

Description of knitting

Back. On needles No. 4, cast on 135 sts and knit 3 cm = 7 rows with an elastic band for the bottom bar, start with 1 purl row and evenly add 12 sts = 147 sts in the last purl row.

Continue working on knitting needles No. 5 in a jagged pattern with “braids.” After 48.5 cm = 126 rows from the bottom bar, cast off 1 x 10 stitches on both sides for the shoulder bevel, then cast off 4 x 10 stitches in every 2nd row.

After 52.5 cm = 136 rows from the bottom bar, close off the remaining 47 stitches, with the middle 35 stitches forming the neckline, and the outer 6 stitches forming the shoulders.

Before. Knit as for the back, but for the neckline, make decreases according to. scheme. To do this, after 34.5 cm = 90 rows from the bottom bar, knit 2 stitches from the middle loop (= 1st p. of the 3rd rapport). scheme 2, divide the work between these 2 sts and both halves by 74 sts, respectively, finish separately. Decrease by 18 points for the neckline along the inner edge according to. scheme 2.

After 48.5 cm = 126 rows from the bottom bar, continue working along the inner edge in a straight line without further decreases and perform a shoulder bevel, as on the back. At the height of the back, close off the remaining 6 stitches of the shoulders.

Sleeves. Using knitting needles No. 4, cast on 63 sts for each sleeve and for the placket, knit 2 cm = 5 rows with an elastic band, start with 1 purl row and evenly add 48 sts = 111 sts in the last purl row.

Continue working on size 5 needles in a jagged, braided pattern.

After 27.5 cm = 72 rows from the bar, close off the sleeves on both sides with 1 x 5 stitches, then in every 2nd row, close off 4 x 5 stitches.

After 31.5 cm = 82 rows from the bar, bind off the remaining 61 sts.

Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. For the binding, cast on 134 stitches on circular needles along the edge of the neckline and knit 1 circular row, as well as 4 circular rows with an elastic band, making sure that 1 knit stitch is located in the middle of the front neckline.

To give shape in each circular row of the pattern, knit 1 middle front loop with the previous and subsequent loops together as follows: slip 2 stitches together as knit stitches, knit 1 stitch, then pull it through the removed loops. Then knit 1 more round row and bind off the stitches like knit stitches. Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
