YOU WILL NEED
Yarn (90% alpaca wool, 5% sheep wool, 5% polyamide; 140 m / 50 g) - 450 (500) 550 g greenish-gray melange; circular knitting needles No. 5.5, length 60 and 80 cm; hook No. 5.5; 75 (80) 85 cm of elastic band, 25 mm wide.
PATTERNS AND DIAGRAMS
RURAL STAIN STITCH
Front rows - purl loops, purl rows - front loops.
In circular rows, purl all stitches.
FACIAL SMOOTH
Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
In circular rows, knit all stitches.
STRUCTURAL PATTERN
Knit according to pattern A for 17 sts. Distribute the stitches according to the instructions. Repeat in height from rows 1 to 22.
"Braid" on 5 sts
1st day: 1 purl, 3 stitches cross to the left (= knit the 2nd stitch behind the 1st stitch, then knit the 1st stitch), purl 1.
Row 2: k1, p1, k1, p1, k1.
3rd row: Cross 2 stitches to the right (= knit the 2nd stitch before the 1st stitch, then knit the 1st stitch), purl 1, cross 2 stitches to the left.
4th r. P1, k3, p1
5th day: K1, purl 1, insert knitting needle into 2 rows. lower, moving away from you (= from the front side to the wrong side), grab the thread and pull out a loop, lay the thread before work, insert the knitting needle into the same loop moving towards you (= from the wrong side to the front side), grab the thread and pull out the 2nd loop , lay the thread behind the work, once again insert the knitting needle moving away from you (= from the front side to the wrong side) and pull out the 3rd loop, then drop 1 loop from the left knitting needle, purl 1, knit 1.
6th day: 1 purl, 1 knit, 3 purl. (elongated loops), knit 1, purl 1.
7th day: K1, purl 1, knit 3 stitches together with a slant to the left (= 2 stitches removed together, as in knitting, knit 1, pull the removed loops through the knitted one), purl 1, knit 1.
8th day: P1, k3, p1
9th day: Cross 2 sts to the left, purl 1, cross 2 sts to the right
10th day: K1, p1, k1, p1
Repeat in height from the 1st to the 10th row.
KNITTING DENSITY
18 p. x 25 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with purl stitch;
27 p. structural pattern = 13 cm.
Both samples are knitted with 5.5 knitting needles.
Completing of the work
Using a double thread, cast on 185 (205) 225 sts crossed. Close the row into a ring and 1st r. knit.
Then distribute the loops as follows: * 10 (14) 18 sts of purl stitch, 5 sts of “braids”, 17 sts of structural pattern, 5 sts of “braids”, from * repeat 4 more times.
After 65.5 cm = 164 r. structural pattern for bevels in each track of the purl stitch, knit the first 2 stitches together purlwise, then in every 6th row. 5 times alternately knit the last 2 and 2 first loops together purlwise = 155 (175) 195 p. (the purl stitch tracks will narrow down to 4 (8) 12 p.).
After 80 cm = 198 rub. knit the structural pattern for the double strap on all stitches in stockinette stitch.
After 9 r. knit the front stitch for the fold 1 r. purl and knit another 9 r. facial stitch. Then close the loops.
ASSEMBLY
Take a piece of elastic tape with a length of approx. waist circumference, place the strip between the halves and sew the last one.
