Raglan pullover with patterned yoke

Soft and fluffy or delicately shimmering, this snow-white knit with see-through patterns puts you in the holiday spirit!

Dimensions: 38/40 (46/48)

You will need: yarn (72% mohair, 28% silk; 210 m/25 g) – 325 (375) g white; knitting needles No. 2.5 and 3.5; circular knitting needles No. 2.5.

Attention: knit only with thread in 3 folds.

 Pattern 1: elastic band (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 2 edge loops).

Front rows: edge, * 1 front, 2 purl, 1 front, from * constantly repeat, edge.

 Purl rows: knit loops according to the pattern.

Pattern 2: front stitch = front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

 Pattern 3: openwork pattern (the number of loops is a multiple of 16) = knit according to. scheme. It shows only the facial rows; in the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the yarn overs purl.

 Constantly repeat the rapport of 16 sts between the arrows.

Constantly repeat 1-32nd r.

 When performing decreases, make sure that the number of yarn overs and loops knitted together inside the row always matches.  

Emphasized decreases: from the right edge, knit 2 stitches together with a slant to the left (= 1 stitch, slip off like a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop). From the left edge knit according to. pattern until the last 3 stitches, then knit 2 stitches together with the front and edge stitches.

Knitting density: pattern 2 – 16.5 p. x 26.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm; pattern 3 – 16.5 p. x 24.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: With a thread in 3 additions on knitting needles No. 2.5, cast on 86 (102) sts and for the bottom bar knit 8 cm = 18 r. pattern 1, while in the last row of the bar evenly add 3 sts = 89 (105) sts.

 Continue working on needles size 3.5 using pattern 2.

 After 29.5 cm = 78 rub. from the bottom bar, distribute the loops as follows: edge stitch, 4 (3) stitches of pattern 2, 80 (97) stitches of pattern 3, to do this, perform 5 x 16 stitches of repeat between the arrows (start with the last 9 stitches of repeat, perform 5 x 16 stitches of repeat between the arrows and finish with the first 8 stitches of repeat), 3 stitches of pattern 2, edge.

At the same time, it is emphasized to decrease on both sides for raglan bevels 1 x 1 p. and in every 2nd p. 30 (38) 1 p.

 After 23.5 cm = 58 r. (30 cm = 74 rubles) from changing the pattern, close the middle 21 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.

To round the neck along the inner edge, close in the next 2nd r. 1 x 1 p. After 25.5 cm = 62 r. (32 cm = 78 r.) From changing the pattern, close off the remaining 2 sts.

Before: knit like a back, but for a deeper neck after 20.5 cm = 50 r. (27 cm = 66 r.) From changing the pattern, close off the middle 9 sts and finish both sides separately.

 To round the neck along the inner edge, close every 2nd r. 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p. and 2 x 1 p.

 After 25.5 cm = 62 r. (32 cm = 78 r.) From changing the pattern, close off the remaining 2 sts.

Sleeves: With a thread in 3 folds on knitting needles No. 2.5, cast on 50 (66) sts for each sleeve and knit 8 cm = 18 r for the placket. pattern 1, while in the last row of the bar evenly add 23 sts = 73 (89) sts.

 Continue working on needles No. 3.5 using pattern 2.

After 31 cm = 82 r. (34.5 cm = 92 rubles) from the bar, distribute the loops as follows: edge stitch, 3 (4) stitches of pattern 2, 65 (80) stitches of pattern 3, to do this, start with the last 9 stitches of repeat, perform 3 x 16 stitches of repeat between the arrows and finish with the first 8 stitches of repeat (perform 5 x 16 stitches of repeat between the arrows), 3 stitches of pattern 2, edge.

At the same time, it is emphasized to decrease on both sides for raglan bevels 1 x 1 p. and in every 2nd p. 30 (38) x 1 p.

After 25.5 cm = 62 r. (32 cm = 78 r.) From changing the pattern, close off the remaining 11 sts.

Assembly: make raglan seams.

To bind the neckline on circular knitting needles, cast on 74 stitches along the edge of the neckline and then close the loops with a bar of hollow cord as follows: cast on another 4 stitches (= 78 stitches), * knit 3, knit 2 stitches together with a tilt to the left, work do not turn, return these 4 sts to the left knitting needle, from “constantly repeat until only 4 sts remain. Connect these 4 sts with the 4 sts cast on at the beginning with a knitted seam.

Sew sleeve seams and side seams.
