Pattern "Flowers"

(number of loops is a multiple of 26+14) Knit according to the pattern. Repeat from 5th to 32nd r.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

BACK

On knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 116 (122:128:134) sts and knit 4 rows for the placket. Italian way and 37 rub. (= 15 cm) with an elastic band.

Switch to needles No. 5, and add 1 x 1 stitches on both sides.

Knit with the “Flowers” pattern according to the pattern, knitting 0 (3:6:9) stitches on both sides in stockinette stitch.

SHOULDER SHADES

 When the height of the part is 40 (44:48:52) cm from the bar for the shoulder bevels, close in each 2-m. on both sides 2 x 20 (21:22:23) n.

Then bind off the remaining 38 (40:42:44) stitches for the neckline.

BEFORE

Knit like the back, but with a deeper neckline.

NECK

When the height of the piece is 35 (39:43:47) cm from the neckline, close off the middle 14 (16:18:20) stitches and then knit both sides separately.

To round the cutout along the inner edge, close in every 2nd r. 1 x 4 p., 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p., 3 x 1 p.

When the height of the part is 40 (44:48:52) cm from the bar for the shoulder bevels, close on both sides in every 2nd r. 2x20 (21:22:23) p.

 All loops are closed.

Using knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 54 (60:64:68) stitches for each sleeve and knit 4 rows for the sleeve placket. Italian way and 31 rub. (= 13 cm) with an elastic band.

Switch to needles No. 5 and knit according to the “Flowers” pattern, knitting 1 (4:6:8) sts on both sides in stockinette stitch.

Starting from the 3rd row, add on both sides every 8th row. 11 x 1 p., knitting gradually increasing loops with the “Flowers” pattern.

After 37 (40:43:46) cm from the sleeve placket, close off the resulting 76 (82:86:90) sts.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the right shoulder seam.

Neck trim

 Using knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 92 (96:100:104) sts along the neckline and knit 8 r. rubber band and 4 r. Italian way (= 4 cm).

Cast off all stitches using a tapestry needle.

Assembly

Sew the left shoulder seam, closing the neck tape into a ring.

Sew the sleeve seams.

Sew in the sleeves.

Sew side seams.
