You will need: 250 (300) g white-beige and 150 (200) g red-violet “Smokey” yarn (46% merino wool, 41% cotton, 8% polyamide, 5% yak wool; 225 m/50 g) Lana Grossa; knitting needles No. 4 and 5; circular needles No. 4.

Patterns.

Rubber: alternately knit 2, purl 2.

Large pattern with braids: knit according to pattern A. Row a indicates the last front row of the rib panel. Start with chrome. and 3 sts before arrow a, 4 sts of rapport between arrows a and b, perform 10 (12) times = 40 (48) sts, knit 4 sts before the 1st double arrow, loops between double arrows (initially 34 sts .) perform 1 time, while adding 10 p., as indicated = 44 p., knit 4 p. after the 2nd double arrow to arrow c, 4 p. rapport between arrows c and d, perform 10 (12) times = 40 (48) p., finish 3 p. after arrow d and edge. In the purl row, distribute all the loops symmetrically and read the pattern from left to right. Perform rows 1–24 once, repeat rows 5–24.

Attention: do not yarn over before casting off the stitches in the last purl row.

Small pattern with braids: knit according to pattern B. Start with loops before the 1st arrow, repeat 4 stitches of rapport between the arrows, end with loops after the 2nd arrow. Repeat rows 1–4.

Knitting density patterns with braids using knitting needles No. 5: 26 sts and 29 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

Knitting description:

Before: on knitting needles No. 4 with a red-violet thread, cast on 122 (138) sts and knit for a 4.5 cm strap = 16 r. with an elastic band, starting in the 1st purl row with chrome. and 1 person, ending with 1 person, chrome. In the last row of the bar in the middle 34 sts, add 10 sts, as indicated = 132 (148) sts. Then knit with needles No. 5 in a large pattern with braids.

After 16.5 cm = 49 rub. From the bar, knit further to the end of the part with a white-beige thread.

After 15 cm = 44 r. from changing the color for the armholes, close 4 p. on both sides, then in every 2nd row 1 x 3 p., 3 x 2 p. and 4 x 1 p. = 98 (114) p.

After 16 (18) cm = 48 (54) r. from the beginning of the armhole for the neckline, close the middle 14 p. and then knit separately, closing along the edges of the neckline in every 2nd row 1 x 5 p., 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p. and 3 x 1 p. After last decrease for the neckline for the shoulder bevel, close 9 (13) sts on both sides, then in every 2nd row 2 x 10 (12) sts.

Back: on knitting needles No. 4 with a red-violet thread, cast on 134 (150) sts and knit for a 4.5 cm strap = 16 r. with an elastic band, starting in the 1st purl row with chrome. and 1 person, ending with 1 person, chrome. Then knit with needles No. 5 in a small pattern with braids. Change the color of the thread and armhole as for the front = 100 (116) sts.

After 21 (23) cm = 62 (68) r. From the beginning of the armhole, make bevels of the shoulders, as for the front. Simultaneously with the 1st decrease for the shoulder bevels for the neckline, close off the middle 32 sts and then knit separately, closing 1 x 5 sts along the edges of the neckline in the 2nd row.

Sleeves: on knitting needles No. 4 with a red-violet thread, cast on 66 (74) sts and knit for a 4.5 cm strap = 16 r. with an elastic band, starting in the 1st purl row with chrome. and 1 person, ending with 1 person, chrome. Next, knit with needles No. 5 in a small pattern with braids. For bevels, add 1 p. on both sides in the 8th row from the bar, then in every 8th row 5 x 1 p. and in every 6th row 6 x 1 p. = 90 (98) p. Added loops include in the pattern.

After 18 cm = 53 r. From the bar, knit further to the end of the part with a white-beige thread.

After 20 cm = 58 rub. from changing the color for the sleeve cap, close 3 p. on both sides, then in every 2nd row 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p., 15 x 1 p., 3 x 2 p. and 1 x 3 p. Cast off the remaining 26 (34) sts.

Assembly: make seams. On circular needles No. 4, cast on 96 stitches along the neckline and knit with an elastic band in circular rows. At a binding height of 6 cm, close the loops freely according to the pattern. Fold the binding in half inward and sew it on. Sew in sleeves.
