Difficulty level: Difficult
Materials
8 (9, 11,12) skeins of Norma Lang Yarn (50 g per 135 m, 55% cotton, 35% modal, 10% viscose);
15 markers and 4 stitch holders or waste yarn;
Circular knitting needles 4 and 4.5 mm long 80 cm or stocking knitting needles 4 and 4.5 mm, knitting needles of a different thickness, allowing you to achieve the desired knitting density;
Scissors;
Knitting needle.
Sample knitting density
With the “Double Rice” pattern after WTO: 18p. and 26 rub. = 10×10 cm, knitting needles 4.5
We strongly recommend checking the knitting density on a sample, which you must wash and dry. If necessary, select the right size knitting needles for yourself. It is enough to knit the sample only with the “Double Rice” pattern, since they are the same with the “Lacy” Pattern.
Double rice pattern (Rapport consists of 2 loops and 4 rows):
When knitting in the round:
1st (conventional knit.) row, 2nd (conditionally purl. row).: * 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch * repeat from * to *.
3rd (conditional purl) row, 4th (conditional purl row): *1 purl, 1 knit* repeat from * to *.
When rotating a sprout:
1st row: *K1, P1* repeat from * to *.
2nd row: *1 purl, 1 knit* repeat from * to *.
3rd person row: *1 purl, 1 person row* repeat from * to *.
Purl 4: *K1, P1* repeat from * to *.
"Rubber" pattern in a circle (even number of loops):
All circular rows: *knit 1, crossed stitch, purl 1; repeat from * to the end of the round.
Openwork pattern
(The rapport consists of 14 loops and 28 rows; the rows indicated are only knit for circular knitting).
NOTE: The symbol on the diagram of the “Bump” pattern means that you need to knit 5 loops from the broach between the fourth and fifth purl loops:
To do this, place the broach on the right knitting needle.
1st row: knit 1st person. behind the front wall, 2nd knit stitch behind the back wall, 3rd knit stitch behind the front wall, 4th knit stitch. behind the back wall, knit 5. behind the front wall. And here is the OWLT: knit this last knit stitch, picking it up through the broach between the loops on which the Pine is knitted and the next one.
Next, remove the loop from the left needle and knit 4 more rows in turning rows, namely: Turn the work and knit.
2nd purl: 5 purl.
3rd person: 5 persons.
4th purl: 5 purl.
5th person: 5 persons. Knit the last loop of this row together with the next purl loop so that an extra loop does not form (reduce it in this way).
Next, using the left knitting needle, pull this loop sequentially through the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th loops and transfer it from the left knitting needle to the first.
The cone is ready!
The front with back and sleeves of the sweater are knitted from top to bottom with raglan on top in circular rows, and then separated from the sleeves and body of the sweater (front and back). Next, the sleeves and body are knitted in circular rows from top to bottom until the product is completed, to the desired length. During the knitting process, be sure to try on the sweater to determine the length of the parts of the product.
NECK, SPROUT, YOKETTE.
On 4 mm circular needles, cast on 81 (85, 91, 95) stitches. Join the stitches in a circle, knitting the last and first stitches of the cast-on row together. As a result, 80 (84, 90, 94) loops are closed in a ring. Attach a marker at the beginning of the circle.
Связать 24 круг.р. или 4см узором «резинка».
Then connect the first cast-on edge of the elastic band and the last one, knitting a loop into a loop. Place a marker for the beginning of the row.
Transfer the stitches to 4.5mm needles, and counting them as the 1st circular row for ease of making patterns, distribute the stitches as follows:
Beginning of row marker, 2 knit stitches of raglan lines, marker, 12 (12,14,14) right sleeve stitches, marker, 2 knit stitches of raglan lines, marker, 26 (28,30,32) p. Front, marker, 2 knit stitches loops of raglan lines, marker, 12 (12,14,14) loops of the left sleeve, marker, 2 front loops of raglan lines, marker, 22 (24,24,26) loops of the Back.
Next, knit the sprout according to the Patterns corresponding to each size.
The sweater sprout is knitted in turning rows. Therefore, knit patterns for turning knitting, knitting purl rows in Patterns for circular knitting, replacing the front loops with purl ones, and the purl ones with front ones. Please note that this only applies to knitting a sprout to a new point of joining the loops into a circle for further knitting of the yoke.
The junction point in the circle is marked on the diagrams.
According to them, start knitting at the point where the loops join in a circle, knit 4 sleeve loops, wrap the next loop with thread, unroll the knitting and move in the opposite direction to a certain place in the diagram. Moreover, knit the loops of the right sleeve according to the sleeve pattern diagram for sizes S and M, read the loops of the left sleeve according to the same pattern, but in a mirror image.
Knit the back and front with the “Double Rice” pattern.
Explanation of schemes S and M: It is necessary to add loops for raglan lines in the places indicated by red dots in the diagram. To the right of.
The first addition is made in the 3rd front row along two raglan lines of the back. The second addition is made in the 5th front row, also along the two raked lines of the back.

Start knitting the 16th purl. circular row according to the sleeve knitting pattern, not forgetting to make raglan increases in every 2nd knit row.
For all sizes, knit the sprout to the new joining point in a circle and knit the yoke in circular rows, continuing to make increases for the raglan lines until there is nothing left on the knitting needles:
64 (64, 75,75) stitches for each sleeve (stop at 22nd (22nd, 18th, 18th) rows of the Main Pattern) 76 (78, 88, 90) stitches Front, 76 (78 , 88, 90) back loops.
В последнем ряду Рукавов для размеров L и XL прибавить одну петлю в области подмышек для доведения до четного количества петель. Получится вместо 75 петель — 76 петель.
CUTS FOR SWEATER BODY.
Having knitted the yoke until it separates into the sleeves and body, stop at the junction of the knitting in a circle, knit 2 knit stitches and remove 64 (64,76,76) sleeve loops using an additional thread (close these loops using an additional contrasting thread or re-slip on other knitting needles ).
Put aside the left sleeve
Please note that all 8 front loops of raglan lines will go into the Front and Back loops, 4 loops for each part.
Cast on 4 (4,6,6) chain loops using an additional contrasting thread for undercuts, pull these loops with the Front and Back loops, then knit the Back loops, including 2 knit stitches of the raglan lines. Next, remove 64 (64,76,76) sleeve loops onto an additional thread (close these loops using an additional contrasting thread or re-slip on other knitting needles).
Set aside the right sleeve.
Cast on 4 more (4,6,6) chain stitches using an additional contrasting thread for undercuts, pull these stitches and knit further than the Front stitch. Stop at the point where the stitches join into a circle in front of the marker.
Now divide the body of the sweater into Front and Back. Move the marker to the middle between the 4 (4,6,6) undercut stitches under the left sleeve. Attach the second marker between the 4 (4,6,6) hem loops under the right sleeve.
These 8 (8,12,12) undercut loops are knitted with knit stitches only, the remaining loops of the Back and Front are knitted in the Double Rice Pattern.
As a result, the circle should be:
For size S: 166 loops, including 84 Front loops, 82 Back loops.
For size M: 170 loops, including 86 Front loops, 84 Back loops.
For size L: 194 stitches, including 98 Front stitches, 96 Back stitches.
For size XL: 198 stitches, including 100 Front stitches, 98 Back stitches.
Knit down the body of the sweater to the desired length.
How to cast on loops for undercuts is shown in the photographs:
On the yoke:
Size S: 64 + 64 (sleeves) + 76 + 76 (front and back) = 280p.
Size M: 64+64 (sleeves)+ 78+78 (front and back) = 284p.
Size L: 76+76 (sleeves) + 88+88 (front and back) = 328p.
Size XL: 76+76(sleeves)+90+90(front and back) = 332p.
Sweater body:
S: 76+76(front and back) + 8 (undercuts)+8(raglan lines) = 168p.
M: 78+78(front and back) + 8 (undercuts)+8(raglan lines) = 172p.
L: 88+88(front and back) + 12(undercuts)+8(raglan lines) = 196p.
XL:90+90(front and back) +12(undercuts)+8(raglan lines) = 200p.
SIDE SLICES.
Before knitting the elastic, separate the Front and Back at the locations of the markers.
Вывязать в начале ряда из протяжки первую петлю Спинки, провязать петли спинки, вывязать в конце ряда до маркера ещё одну лицевую петлю — последнюю. Вывязанные петли будут кромочными петлями.
As a result, there should be 84 (86, 98, 100) loops on the Back. Turn the knitting to the wrong side and knit the sweater rib in 4cm turning rows for 10 rows, performing the Crossed Rib Pattern.
To do this, in the purl rows, knit the purl loops crossed.
Continue knitting the Front in the same way.
There should be 86 (88, 100,102) front stitches.
Close the loops with a needle or in the usual way.
SLEEVES.
Knit the sleeves with the main pattern. To expand the Sleeve Pattern, refer to the Schemes for the Sleeve Pattern on the Yoke.
When dividing the yoke into the body of the sweater and sleeves, which is described above, now the sleeve loops are transferred to auxiliary knitting needles or closed with an additional contrasting thread in the amount of 64 (64,76,76) loops.
Transfer these loops to 4.5 circular needles 40 or 50 cm long, or if you use the Magic Loop technique 80-100 cm, knit the sleeves down in the round.
To do this, you first need to cast on the undercut loops.
To avoid holes between the undercut loops and the sleeve loops, you need to knit one loop from the broach on both sides of the undercut loops.
Having cast on undercut loops in the amount of 6 (6,8,8) loops, 70 (70, 84,84) loops are closed in a circle, which is equal to 5 (5,6,6) reports of the Main Pattern.
Place a marker for the beginning of the row and continue knitting the sleeve further according to the Main Pattern Scheme 23rd (23rd, 19th, 19th row) in a circle of 5 (5,6,6) Pattern reports.

WTO
Wash the sweater by hand.
After filling the container with water, lower the thermometer into it to make sure the correct temperature is 30-40 degrees. The detergent must be added to the water before your item is in it. Keep it in the water for 15 minutes and start rinsing, checking the desired water temperature each time. Squeeze the product into the towel, do not twist or pull.
• After washing and spinning, remove the product from the washing container, lay it horizontally on a towel, giving it its original dimensions, even using a measuring tape, “picking up” the stretched product, away from heating devices.
• After 10-12 hours, turn the sweater over to the other side.
• Do not pick up or try on the product until it is completely dry.
• Do not iron dry items.
Happy knitting!
