What will help you stay warm in chilly cold weather? Of course - a sweater! This is the warmest jacket. A sweater is knitted from natural wool; alpaca wool is best; it is warm and soft at the same time; merino sweaters also provide excellent warmth.

Stylish women's sweater with raglan sleeves, made of wool with 4.5 mm knitting needles. All details of the model are knitted separately with an elastic pattern according to the patterns given in the description. The stand collar is knitted in the round at the very end.

Yarn Novita 7 Veljesta (75% wool, 25% polyester; 200 m / 100 grams per skein) – 8 (8, 9, 9) skeins.


Required tools:
Knitting needles No. 4 and No. 4.5, circular needles No. 4, 40 cm long.
Knitting density:
24 loops and 26 rows = 10 cm of 2x2 elastic, made with knitting needles No. 4.5.

Elastic band 1x1:

Repeat *1 knit stitch, 1 purl loop*. In purl rows, knit stitches with knit stitches, and purl stitches with purl stitches.

Elastic band 2x2:

Repeat *2 knit stitches, 2 purl loops*. In purl rows, knit stitches with knit stitches, and purl stitches with purl stitches.

Before:

Using size 4 needles, cast on 126 (134, 146, 154) stitches.

In the 146th row, knit half the loops of the row, place a marker in the center of the row, knit another 9 loops after the marker. Move the previous 18 stitches to the stitch holder for the neckline, and knit the row to the end.

On the right side of the neckline, knit rows 147-154 of Figure 2.

Cut the thread and leave the loops on the collar loop holder.

Repeat these decreases in every 2nd row 12 more times, then in each row 31 times.

In the purl row, knit 2 loops together on each edge. Place the remaining 26 (26, 26, 26) stitches onto the collar stitch holder.

Right sleeve:

Using size 4 needles, cast on 46 (46, 46, 46) stitches.

Rib row (purl): 1 knit stitch, *1 purl loop, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Tie 5 cm with an elastic band.

Change knitting needles to number 4.5.

Start knitting with 2x2 rib:

Rib row (front): 2 knit stitches, *2 purl loops, 2 knit stitches; repeat from * to the end of the row.

After 2 rows, start adding:

1st row of increases (front): knit 8 loops, add 1 loop from the broach with a slant to the right, place the 1st marker, knit 8 loops, add 1 loop from the broach with a slant to the right, place the 2nd marker, knit 14 loops , place the 3rd marker, add 1 loop from the broach with a slant to the left, knit 8 loops, place the 4th marker, add 1 loop from the broach with a slant to the left, knit 8 loops - 50 (50, 50, 50) loops on the knitting needles .

In purl rows, knit stitches with knit stitches, and purl stitches with purl stitches.

Knit with an elastic band and continue to increase: to the right of the 1st marker another 0 (0, 4, 4) times; to the right of the 2nd marker and to the left of the third marker another 8 (8, 8, 8) times in every 2nd row; to the left of the 4th marker 0 (0, 4, 4) more times.

After all additions, remove all markers.

Note: when the knitting height reaches 17 cm, add 1 loop from each edge in the front row: 2 knit loops, add 1 knit/purl loop from the stretch with a slant to the left, knit to the last 2 loops, add 1 knit/purl loop from a broach with a tilt to the right.

Repeat these additions in every 6 (4, 4, 4) row another 4 (7, 6, 9) times. Knit the added loops with an elastic band - there are 88 (94, 100, 106) loops on the knitting needles.

Note: when the knitting height reaches 19 cm, in the center of the knitting, start knitting 34 loops of the 1st row of the pattern

Work the remaining 2-32 rows of the pattern, then knit with an elastic band.

When the knitting height reaches 47 (48, 49, 49) cm, bind off 4 (5, 6, 7) loops from each edge once. Then, in every 2nd row, cast off 0 (1, 1, 2) stitches from each edge 2 times and 0 (0, 2, 2) loops 1 time - there are 80 (80, 80, 80) loops on the knitting needles.

Next, continue to knit with an elastic band and perform decreases for raglan from both ends in the front rows: 2 knit stitches, knit 2 knit stitches together with a slant to the left, knit until the last 4 loops, knit 2 knit loops together with a slant to the right, 2 knit stitches.

Repeat these decreases in every 2nd row 15 more times - there are 48 (48, 48, 48) stitches on the needles.

Mark the central 12 loops with markers and decrease in the center (front row): knit up to 2 loops before the marked loops, knit 2 loops together with a slant to the right, knit 12 marked loops, knit 2 loops together with a slant to the left, knit until end of the row.

Repeat these decreases in every 2nd row 11 more times.

Next row (purl): knit 2 loops together, purl behind the back walls, knit until the last 2 loops, knit 2 loops together, purl.

Move remaining 22 (22, 22, 22) stitches onto collar stitch holder.

Left sleeve:

Knit as for the right sleeve, but use pattern 4.

Completion:

Sew raglan seams.

On circular needles place 26 (26, 26, 26) back stitches, 22 (22, 22, 22) left sleeve stitches, 46 (46, 46, 46) front stitches and 22 (22, 22, 22) right sleeve stitches - total 116 (116, 116, 116) loops.

Knit rib in circular rows. Knit double loops as one loop.

On each side of the central 12 loops of each sleeve, decrease in every 2nd row 4 more times - 100 (100, 100, 100) loops on the needles.

When the collar height reaches 16 cm, bind off all loops.

Sew side seams and sleeve seams. Thread the ends of the threads.
