You will need:

  • yarn (46% wool, 46% viscose, 8% polyamide; 210 m/50 g) – 500 g blue-turquoise section dyeing;
  • hook number 8.

Important: constantly knit with a double thread, while paying attention to the fact that the colors match when changing colors.

Square: fold 1 ring of thread, perform 1 ch, 5 tbsp. b/n into the ring and close the circular row using 1 connection. Art. (= 1st round) and then pull the thread to the required size. Knit in circular rows according to pattern 1. Knit 13 circular rows as shown in the chart. If necessary, move to the beginning of the next circular row using the connection. Art.

Pattern "Shells": the number of loops in the initial row is a multiple of 6 + 1. Knit according to pattern 2. Start with loops before repeat, repeat repeat constantly, finish with loops after repeat. From the 1st to the 3rd row, knit 1 time, then repeat the 2nd + 3rd rows constantly.

Description of the process of knitting a pullover from large squares

Back:

Part A: complete 1 square.

Part B: perform a chain of 31 v.p. + 1 v.p. rise and knit with the “Shells” pattern. After 28 cm = 19 r. Finish the work from the initial row.

Part C: perform a chain of 27 v.p. + 3 v.p. rise and knit with a fancy pattern. After 28 cm = 16 r. Finish the work from the initial row.

Part D: make a chain of 28 ch. + 3 v.p. lifting and knitting st. s/n. After 28 cm = 17 r. Finish the work from the initial row. Sew parts A – O according to the diagram.

Before:

Knit as for the back, but work parts C + D with the neckline.

Part C: for the neck after 16.5 cm = 9 r. leave 12 loops unknitted from the starting row on the right edge. After 28 cm = 16 r. From the initial row, finish the work on the remaining loops.

Part D: for the neck after 16.5 cm = 10 r. leave 13 loops unknitted from the starting row on the left edge. After 28 cm = 17 r. from the initial row on the remaining loops, finish the work.

Sleeves:

For each sleeve, make a chain of 28 vp. + 3 v.p. lifting and knitting st. s/n. At the same time, for bevels of the sleeves from the initial row in every 4th row. add 3 x 1 p. on both sides and in every 6th p. 2 x 1 p. = 38 p. After 43.5 cm = 26 r. Finish the work from the initial row.

Hood:

Make a chain of 75 vp. + 3 v.p. rise and knit with the “Lattice” pattern. After 42 cm = 25 r. from the initial row, finish the work by knitting 1 p. Art. s/n. Fold the hood in half and sew the top seam. Tie the hood 3.5 cm = 2 r. Art. s/n, while in each row perform 84 sts, s/n.

Assembly:

Sew shoulder seams. Sew the hood to the neckline with closed loops. Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
