2nd row (purl): 1 (4, 7, 11) knit stitch, 2nd row of pattern A, 24 knit stitches, 2nd row of pattern A, 1 (4, 7, 11) knit stitch - on knitting needles 114 (120, 126, 134) loops.
These 2 rows establish the order of knitting pattern A and purl stitch.
Continue knitting in the established order until the knitting height reaches 47 (48, 48, 49) cm from the cast-on row.
Armholes:
Place removable markers at both ends of the last row to mark the armholes and continue to knit in the established order until the knitting height reaches 67 (69, 71, 73) cm from the cast-on row.
Neckline and shoulder slant:
Next row (front): cast off 13 (14, 15, 16) stitches, knit further until there are 30 (31, 32, 34) stitches on the right needle, turn the knitting and then knit only on these 30 (31, 32, 34) loops.

Row of increases (front): 2 purl loops, add 1 loop from the broach, knit until the last 2 loops, add 1 loop from the broach, 2 purl loops.
Repeat last 8 (6, 6, 6) rows 3 (14, 11, 9) more times – 62 (86, 82, 80) stitches on needles.
Only for sizes M, XL and XXL:
Knit 5 (-, 3, 3) rows straight.
Row of increases (front): 2 purl loops, add 1 loop from the broach, knit until the last 2 loops, add 1 loop from the broach, 2 purl loops.
Repeat the last 6 (-, 4, 4) rows another 9 (-, 4, 7) times - 82 (-, 92, 96) loops on the needles.
For all sizes:
Knit straight until the knitting height reaches 55 cm from the cast-on row.
Place all stitches onto the stitch holder.
Collar:
Using size 5 needles, cast on 102 (106, 110, 114) stitches.
Knit 18 cm with 2x2 rib, finishing with 2 purl loops. Leave the stitches on the stitch holder.
Completion:
Sew shoulder seams. Attach the collar loops to the neckline in a convenient way. Sew the edges of the collar. Attach the sleeve loops to the armholes between the markers. Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
Thread the ends of the threads and steam a men's sweater.
