Stylish pullover with an original pattern in the form of horizontal zigzag stripes in the center of the sleeve, front and back.
Designer Nicole Reeves
The sweater is a deep gray-olive color with a pattern that smoothly transitions to a stand-up collar. The pullover is attractive with beautiful aran stripes, which continue on the stand-up collar. The cuffs and bottom of the model are made with a rice pattern (simple alternation of knit and purl stitches). The same pattern is very harmoniously woven between the stripes of arans.
Please note: closing the last loops of the collar is done with purl loops! This creates a beautiful edge texture.
Dimensions: chest circumference – 90 (100.5, 109, 119.5, 128.5, 139.5, 150) cm.
Necessary materials:yarn (100% wool; 199 m / 100 grams per skein) – 7 (8, 8, 10, 10, 12, 13) skeins.
Required tools: knitting needles No. 4.5, stitch markers, additional needle, tapestry needle.
Knitting density:
20 loops and 28 rows = 10 cm of stockinette stitch;
10 rope loops = 3.5 cm wide.
Notes: The back and front of the pullover are knitted separately, starting from the bottom edge. Then they are stitched together.
If the reduction of loops prevents the execution of a tourniquet, you should divide the remaining loops as equally as possible and perform a tourniquet with the remaining loops.
