A jumper with buttons from Kim Hargreaves is knitted from the bottom up with elastic bands going from one to another: the bottom is made with 2 x 2 elastic, then the elastic is based on 4 loops. The jumper is made without a sprout, but with darts on the chest.

These 2 rows form a ribbed pattern (elastic band).

Knit another 20 rows with a ribbed pattern, in the center of the last row (purl) add 1 stitch = 99 (105: 111: 117: 123: 133) stitches.

Switch to needles number 4.

Now knit the pattern as follows:

These 2 rows form the pattern.

Continue knitting with the pattern, forming side bevels, adding 1 stitch on both sides in the 5th row. and 3 times in each track. 6th r. , then 4 times in each trace. 8th r. Insert added stitches into pattern = 115 (121: 127: 133: 139: 149) sts.

Continue knitting straight to a height of 31 (31: 32: 32: 32: 32) cm, ending with a purl row.

Repeat last 2 rows 11 more times, ending with a knit row.

Work in garter stitch for 10 rows, ending with a purl row.

Place markers at both ends of the last row to indicate the shoulder locations.

Formation of an okat

Close off 9 (8: 9: 8: 9: 8) sts at the beginning of the next. 2 rows = 95 (101: 101: 107: 109: 115) sts.

Decrease 1 stitch on both sides in the next row. 5 rows, then in every 2nd row. 3 (4: 4: 5: 5: 6) times, then next. 5 rows, finish with a purl row = 69 (73: 73: 77: 79: 83) sts.

Cast off 3 stitches at the beginning of the next 4 rows, then 4 stitches at the beginning of the next row. 2 rows, finish with a purl row.

Assembly

Steam the parts with a hot iron through a damp cloth. Place the top edges of the front shoulders over the top edges of the back shoulders as shown in the photo, so that the shoulder point markers match the edges of the armholes. Then sew the back and front along the edges of the overlapping rows of fabric. Sew buttons as shown in the photo.

Sew side seams and sleeve seams.

Sew the sleeves into the armholes.
