Description of knitting

Back. On knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 92 (112) stitches and for the placket, knit 6 cm with an elastic band, while in the last purl row on both sides after and before the edge knit 1 knit stitch crossed from a transverse thread = 94 (114) stitches. Continue working on knitting needles No. 4.5 with an openwork braid pattern, while for size 2 start with 1 edge and loops from arrow A, repeat 5 times, finish with loops to arrow B and 1 edge; Replace the gray loops of the pattern at the beginning and end of the row with purl loops.

After 47.5 cm = 124 rows from the bar, close off the middle 34 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round along the inner edge, bind off 1 x 5 sts in the next 2nd row. After 49 cm = 128 rows from the bar, bind off the remaining 25 (35) sts of the shoulders.

Before. Knit like a back, but for a V-shaped neck, after 25.5 cm = 66 rows from the bar - that is, in the 31st row of the pattern - divide the work in the middle and finish both sides separately = 47 (57) stitches on each half. The inner loop will become an edge loop, respectively; the last 2 loops before this edge and the first 2 loops after this edge are then knitted in stockinette stitch.

At the same time, for the bevel of the neckline, it is emphasized to decrease along the inner edge in every 2nd row from the division of work 5 x 1 sts and in every 4th row 12 x 1 sts. At the height of the back, close the outer 25 (35) sts of the shoulders and on knit the remaining 5 stitches along the inner edge for the back neckline another 10 cm using stockinette stitch. Then leave the loops.

Sleeves. Cast on 52 stitches on knitting needles No. 3.5 for each sleeve and knit 6 cm with an elastic band for the placket, while in the last purl row add 1 st on both sides, as on the back = 54 sts. Continue working on knitting needles No. 4.5 openwork pattern of “braids”.

After 14 cm = 36 rows (12.5 cm = 32 rows) from the bar, add 1 x 1 p. to bevel the sleeves on both sides, then in every 8th row 5 x 1 p. and in every 6th row 4 x 1 p. (in every 4th row 17 x 1 p.) acc. pattern = 74 (90) p. After 41.5 cm = 108 rows from the bar, close all loops.

Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. Sew the remaining loops of both halves of the strap with a knitted seam and sew the strip into the neck of the back. Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
