Sweater "Irish Dove"

Sweater with a beautiful name “Irish Dove”, knitted with raglan on top. Its decoration is an openwork pattern and an original elastic band.

Description
Formation of raglan lines: additions are made on both sides of the patterns according to schemes A.2/A.4. The additions for the main part are shown in diagrams A.3 and A.5. For sleeves, add ons using yarn overs, while following. Knit the yarn over around the knit stitch so that there are holes left.

Increments should be made in every 2nd round 23-29-35 times, but after the yarn over at the beginning of the sleeve and after the yarn over at the end of the sleeve, 2 sts should be knitted together. (approximately every 0-5-10 addition). In this circle, no additions are made for the sleeves, but holes are formed along the raglan.

In total, for the sleeves you should add 23-26-28 stitches on each side.

Cast on 86-86-86 stitches with double yarn and knit according to pattern A.1 in the round 1 vert. rapport, then continue: 12 p. according to pattern A.2., 5 p. according to pattern A.3, 12 p. according to pattern A.4 = back, yarn over, 14 p. in stockinette stitch, yarn over = sleeve, A.2 , A.3, A.4 = front, yarn over, 14 stitches in stockinette stitch, yarn over = sleeve.

Continue knitting according to the pattern and at the same time begin to form the raglan lines, making increases in the sleeve loops in every 2nd circle (see description above).

Knit the sleeve loops in stockinette stitch. After 1 vert. rapport according to pattern A.3, continue knitting next. way: A.2, 13 p. according to pattern A.5 A, 12 p. according to pattern A.5 B, 14 p. according to pattern A.5 C, A.4 = back, sleeve loops, A.2, A .5 A, A.5 BA5 C, A.4 = front, sleeve loops.

Note: in the 1st decrease in pattern A.8, start from the first loop before the pattern and perform a decrease next. way: remove the afterbirth. loop of diagram A.2, knit together. first 2 loops of pattern A.8 A, pull through. loop through the removed one.

At the end of pattern A.8, knit a decrease in this way: 3 stitches together (2 last loops of pattern A.8 and 1 loop of pattern A.4).

Next, knit 4 circles with garter knitting, evenly decreasing 4 sts in the loops of patterns A.2/A.4 and also decreasing 2-2-6 sts evenly in the same circle = 144-168-192 sts. Work 1 vert. repeat pattern A.11 and close the loops according to the pattern = 58-68-80 cm from the shoulder.

Sleeves 

Transfer the reserved sleeve stitches to the stocking needles and cast on new 8-8-10 stitches, placing a marker for the beginning of the circle in the center of these loops = 68-74-80 stitches.

Knit in stockinette stitch and after 3 cm decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker, repeat the circle of decreases every 2-1½-1½ cm another 15-16-17 times = 36-40-44 stitches.

After 38-35-31 cm, perform 4 circles in garter knitting, evenly adding 4-0-4 stitches in the 1st circle. Perform 1 vert. repeat according to diagram A.11 and close the loops according to the drawing = 44-41-37 cm.
Sew the holes between the sleeves and the main part.
