Description of knitting
Back
Cast on 87 (97) stitches on the knitting needles and for the placket, knit 1 cm = 2 rows with pattern 1.

Continue working as follows: edge, 35 (40) loops with pattern 2, while for size 1 finish with loops to the arrow, 15 loops with pattern 3, 35 (40) loops with pattern 2, while for size 1 knit as before and for size 2, start with loops from the arrow and finish with loops to the arrow, edge.

After the 3rd row, due to the increases inside the “braid” there will be 93 (103) loops on the knitting needles.

After 17 cm = 54 rows (15 cm = 48 rows) from the bar, add 1 loop for a side bevel on both sides, then add 1 loop in every 20th row 4 times according to the pattern = 103 (113) loops.

And after 59.5 cm = 190 rows from the bar, close all the loops, with the middle 37 (41) loops forming the neck, the outer 33 (36) loops forming the shoulders.

Front end
Knit as for the back, but distribute pattern 2 in a mirror image. After 54 cm = 172 rows from the bar, close off the middle 13 (17) loops for the neckline and finish both sides separately.

To round along the inner edge, cast off 3 loops 1 time, 2 loops 2 times, and 1 loop 5 times in every 2nd row.

At the height of the back, bind off the remaining 33 (36) shoulder loops.

Sleeves
Cast on 47 stitches for each sleeve and for the placket, knit 1 cm = 2 rows with pattern 1.

Continue working with pattern 2, start with 1 edge, repeat 4 times, finish with loops to the arrow and 1 edge.

After 25 cm = 80 rows (24 cm = 76 rows) from the bar, add 1 loop to bevel the sleeves on both sides, then in every 12th row 4 times 1 loop (in every 8th row 7 times 1 loop) according to pattern = 57 (63) loops.

And after 44 cm = 140 rows from the bar, close all the loops.

Assembly
Sew shoulder seams. For a golf collar, cast on 70 (74) stitches on circular needles No. 5.5 along the edge of the neckline and knit in a pattern in 4 circular rows.

9 cm from the start of knitting the collar, continue working on circular knitting needles No. 6.

And after 32 cm from the start of knitting the collar, do not close all the loops too tightly, like knit stitches. Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
