Dimensions: 36/38 (40/42–44/46–48/50)
You will need: yarn 1 (100% wool; 162 m/50 g) - 250 (250-300-300) g camel wool color; hand-dyed yarn 2 (70% mohair, 30% silk; 450 m/50 g) - 50 (50-50-50) g in caramel tones; knitting needles No. 3,5 and 4; hook No. 3.5.
Patterns
Openwork pattern. Knit according to the given pattern. Repeat repeat in width = 6 sts, in height - from the 1st to the 4th row.
Pearl pattern.
1st row: alternately knit 1, purl 1.
2nd and 4th rows: knit loops according to the pattern.
3rd row: alternately purl 1, knit 1.
Repeat these rows in height.
Knitting density:
22 p. x 29 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a pearl pattern using knitting needles No. 3.5, yarn 1;
20 p. x 24 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in an openwork pattern using knitting needles No. 4 with yarn 2.
Completing of the work
Back. On needles No. 3.5 with yarn 1, cast on 105 (113-121-135) sts and knit with a pearl pattern.
After the 34th r. decrease on both sides for fitting, first 1 p., then in every 6th r. 4 more times 1 p.
After 78 r. from the cast-on row, first add 1 stitch on both sides, then in every 6th row.
After 36 cm = 104 r. from the cast-on row, decrease on both sides for armholes in every 2nd r. 1 time for 3 p., 1 time for 2 p. and 2 times for 1 p. = 91 (99-107-121) p.
After 18.5 (19.5-21-22) cm = 54 (56-60-64) r. from the beginning of the armhole, close the middle 35 (37-41-49) stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
To round the neckline, close from the inner edge at the beginning of the row 1 time 2 p. and 1 time 1 p.
After 8 r. from the beginning of the neck all 25 (28-30-33) stitches are closed.
Finish the second side symmetrically.
Before. Knit as for the back, but the middle 25 (27-31-39) p. for the neck close after 15 (16-17-18.5) cm = 44 (46-50-54) p. from the beginning of the armhole and finish both sides separately.
To round the neckline, close from the inner edge at the beginning of the row 1 time 3 sts, 1 time 2 sts and 3 times 1 st.
After 18 r. From the beginning of the neck, close off the remaining 25 (28-30-33) shoulder stitches.
Finish the second side symmetrically.
Sleeves. On knitting needles No. 4 with yarn 2, cast on 58 (64-70-76) sts and 1st r. (= purl row) purl. Continue the work with an openwork pattern.
After 50 (48.5-47.5-46) cm = 120 (116-114-110) r. close on both sides for an okata in every 2nd r. 3 (0-1-2) times 3 sts and 2 (5-5-5) times 4 sts.
In 10 (10-12-12) r. from the beginning of the okat, loosely close the remaining 24 loops.
Assembly. Sew shoulder seams. Sew in the sleeves, slightly pressing along the edges. Sew sleeve seams and side seams.
Crochet the edge of the neckline with yarn 2 “crawfish step” (= 1 r. st. b/n, made from left to right), starting from the left shoulder seam.
