Dimensions: 38-40 (42-44, 46-48, 50-52)

pattern

You will need:


9 (10, 11, 12) skeins of Katia BRISA yarn in white number 1 (60% mercerized cotton; 40% rayon, 125 m/50 g); knitting needles No. 3.5 and 4.5; 3 white buttons with a diameter of 25 mm.
Garter stitch: knit. and out. R. – persons P. 
Pattern 1: knit according to pattern A.

Knitting density:
pattern on larger knitting needles: 18 sts and 26 r. = 10 x 10 cm.


Note: 


knitting density was measured after wet-heat treatment (ironing) of the knitted sample.
The back consists of two parts: the horizontal lower part and the back part. 
The beginning of each part is indicated by arrows on the size diagram. 


Bottom part:


On larger needles, cast on 10 stitches.
Knit 2 p. garter stitch.
Then at the beginning of each person. R. add 3 x 11 p. and 1 x 10 p. 
Continue 10 cast-on stitches in garter stitch, knit 33 added stitches (3 x 11 stitches) with pattern 1 according to pattern A, and knit the last 10 added stitches in garter stitch.


Note: 


So that the edges are not too tight in every 10th r. From each edge, knit 1 double row for only 10 stitches in garter stitch. 
51 (56, 60, 65) cm from the set (measured along the left long edge) from the right edge at the beginning of each face. R. close 1 x 10 p., 3 x 11 p. and 1 x 10 p. 
 

Back detail:


For larger knitting needles from faces. sides along the right edge of the bottom part, pick up all the loops along the part with 10 stitches in garter stitch (short edge 48 (53, 57, 62) cm long).
Knit a trace. purl row side with knit stitches, adding and subtracting as necessary to make a total of 86 (94, 102, 110) sts. 
Then, starting and ending with stitches marked with arrows A (B, C, D), knit pattern 2 according to pattern B. 
 

Sleeve opening:


After 58 cm from the set on both sides at the beginning of each row, close off: 1 x 4 p., 3 x 2 (3 x 2, 4 x 2, 4 x 2) p., 2 x 1 (3 x 1, 3 x 1 , 4 x 1) p. = 62 (68, 72, 78) p.
 

Shoulders:


After 77 (78, 79, 80) cm from the set on both sides at the beginning of each row, close off 2 x 8 sts. (2 x 9 sts, 2 x 10 sts, 2 x 11 sts) = 30 (32, 32 , 34) p.
Neckline:
After 79 (80, 81, 82) cm from cast on, bind off remaining 30 (32, 32, 34) sts. 
The right shelf consists of two parts: the horizontal lower part and the right front part. 
The beginning of each part is indicated by arrows on the size diagram. 
 

Bottom part:


On larger needles cast on 53 sts.
Then knit 10 stitches in garter stitch, 33 stitches in pattern 1 according to pattern A and 10 stitches in garter stitch.

So that the edges are not too tight in every 10th r. From each edge, knit 1 double row for only 10 stitches in garter stitch. 
24 (26.5, 28.5, 31) cm from the set on the right edge at the beginning of each face. R. close 1 x 10 p., 3 x 11 p. and 1 x 10 p.


Right front:


For larger knitting needles from faces. side of work along the right edge of the bottom piece, pick up all the loops along the part with 10 stitches in garter stitch (short edge 24 (26.5, 28.5, 31) cm long).
Knit a trace. purl row side, increasing and decreasing as necessary until there are only 44 (48, 52, 56) sts on the needles. 
Then, starting and ending with stitches marked with arrows A (B, C, D), knit pattern 2 according to pattern C. 
 

Sleeve opening:
58 cm from the set on the left edge at the beginning of each purl. row close 1 x 4 p., 3 x 2 (3 x 2, 4 x 2, 4 x 2) p., 2 x 1 (3 x 1, 3 x 1, 4 x 1) p. = 32 (35, 37, 40) p.
Neckline:
68 cm from the set on the right edge at the beginning of each face. row close 6 x 1 p., 1 x 4 p., 2 x 2 p., 2 x 1 (3 x 1, 3 x 1, 4 x 1) p. = 16 (18, 20, 22) p.
 

Shoulder:


77 (78, 79, 80) cm from the set on the left edge at the beginning of each purl. R. close off 2 x 8 (2 x 9, 2 x 10, 2 x 11) sts. 
The left shelf consists of two parts: the horizontal lower part and the left front part.
 

Bottom part:
On larger needles, cast on 10 stitches.
Knit 2 p. garter stitch.
Then at the beginning of each person. R. add 3 x 11 p. and 1 x 10 p. 
Continue 10 cast-on stitches in garter stitch, knit 33 added stitches (3 x 11 stitches) with pattern 1 according to pattern A, and knit the last 10 added stitches in garter stitch.
 

Note:

After 24 (26.5, 28.5, 31) cm (measured along the short right edge), bind off all loops.
 

Left front part:


Perform symmetrically to the right front part.

For larger knitting needles from faces. On the right side of the work, along the right edge of the bottom piece, pick up all the stitches along the piece with 10 stitches in garter stitch (short edge 24 (26, 28, 30) cm long.
Knit a trace. purl row side of the work with knit stitches, increasing and decreasing as necessary so that there are only 44 (46, 50, 54) sts on the needles. 
Then, starting and ending with stitches marked with arrows A (B, C, D), knit pattern 2 according to pattern D. 
On both sides (1 p. from the edge) in every 12th r. add 8 x 1 p. (alternately in every 10th and 12th r. 9 x 1 p., alternately in every 10th and 12th r. 9 x 1 p., in every 12th r. 8 x 1 p.) = 60 (64, 68, 70) p. 
 

Note: 


knit the added loops with pattern 2; considering that 2 stitches are needed to compensate for the yarn over with 1 decrease; if there are not enough loops, knit the added loops of the faces. satin stitch 
 

Sleeve opening:


After 46 cm from the set, close the trace on both sides. way: 
for size 38-40: in every 2nd r. close 2 x 2 p., 8 x 1 p. and then in every 4th r. 4 x 2 p. = 20 p. 
for size 42-44: in every 2nd r. close 2 x 2 p., 9 x 1 p. and then in every 4th p. close 4 x 2 p. = 22 p. 
for size 46-48: in every 2nd r. close 2 x 2 p., 10 x 1 p. and then in every 4th r. close 4 x 2 p. = 24 p. 
for size 50-52: in every 2nd r. close 2 x 2 p., 11 x 1 p. and then in every 4th r. close 4 x 2 p. = 24 p.
After 61 (62, 63, 64) cm bind off the remaining 20 (22, 24, 24) sts.
Assembling the jacket parts:
From persons Baste the parts together (bending the back in half), steam the parts and then remove the basting.
 

Note: 


perform all seams using the side seam method.
 

Right shelf strip:
Use smaller knitting needles from faces. raise the sides along the right center edge of the right shelf (straight piece of the horizontal part) and 77 sts from the beginning of the right front piece up to the neckline = 137 sts in total.
Knit in garter stitch.


Button Holes:


At 8 p.m. (from the front side, starting from the bottom part) do the following. way: knit 76 knits. p., * close off 3 p., knit 24 stitches. p., repeat from * one more time, bind off 3 p., knit 4 stitches. P. 
Next R. from inside Cast on the sides of the closed loops again.
Knit another 6 rows in garter stitch (there will be 14 rows in total) and continue. R. from inside sides close all loops as knits..
Make the left shelf strip in the same way, only without holes for buttons.
Sew shoulder seams.
 

Collar:


Use smaller knitting needles from faces. sides (see photo) along the right front neckline, starting from the end of the placket, pick up 30 (33, 36, 39) sts; along the back neckline, pick up 30 (32, 34, 36) sts and along the right front neckline, pick up 30 (33, 36, 39) sts up to the end of the placket = 90 (98, 106, 114) sts. 
Knit 14 rows in garter stitch and follow. R. from inside sides close all loops as knits..
Aligning the center of the upper part of the sleeve with the shoulder seam and the edges with the beginning of the front and back armholes, sew in the sleeves. 
Perform the second sleeve in the same way.
Smooth out all seams.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
Sew buttons on the left placket.
