DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Back: on knitting needles No. 4, cast on 98 (104) 110 sts in a cross cast-on and for the bottom bar, knit 7 cm with an elastic band, while in the last purl row evenly add 32 (34) 36 sts = 130 (138) 146 sts. Continue working on the knitting needles No. 4.5 as follows: chrome, 28 (32) 36 p. purl stitch, 21 p. “oblique” A, 30 p. central “oblique”, 21 p. “oblique” B, 28 (32) 36 p. . purl stitch, chrome. After 24.5 cm = 68 r. from the bottom bar, close on both sides for armholes 1 x 4 p., then in every 2nd row close 9 x 1 p. = 104 (112) 120 p. After 45 cm = 126 r. (47 cm = 132 rub.) 49 cm = 138 rub. from the bottom bar, close the outer 23 (27) 31 sts for the shoulders and set aside the middle 58 sts for the neck.

Before: knit like a back, but after 41.5 cm = 116 r. (43.5 cm = 122 rub.) 45.5 cm = 128 rub. From the bottom bar, set aside the middle 40 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the inner edge, subtract 3 x 3 stitches in every 2nd row. At the height of the back, close off the remaining 23 (27) 31 stitches of the shoulders.

Sleeves: Using knitting needles No. 4, cast on 54 (58) 62 stitches for each sleeve in a cross cast-on and for the placket, knit 7 cm with an elastic band. Continue working on needles No. 4.5 in stockinette stitch. At the same time, add 1 x 1 p. on both sides for bevels in the 1st row from the bar, then in every 20th row 4 x 1 p. (in every 14th row 6 x 1 p.) in every 10th row row 8 x 1 p. = 64 (72) 80 p. After 35.5 cm = 100 r. from the bar, close on both sides for edging 1 x 4 p., then decrease in every 2nd row 7 x 1 p., in every 4th row 5 x 1 p. and then in every 2nd row 3 x 1 p. (in every 2nd row 9 x 1 p., in every 4th row 3 x 1 p. and then in every 2nd row 5 x 1 p.) in every 2nd row 20 x 1 p. After 50.5 cm = 142 r. close off the remaining 26 (30) 32 sts from the bar.

Assembly: sew shoulder seams.

For the hood, starting in the middle of the front neckline, on circular knitting needles No. 4, knit 29 set aside stitches for the front neckline, cast on 2 stitches from the shoulder seam, knit the set aside 58 stitches for the back neckline, pick up 2 stitches from the shoulder seam and knit 29 set aside stitches front neck loops to the middle of the neck with knit stitches.

Then, starting from the 1st purl row, continue working on needles No. 4.5 for all 120 stitches as follows: edge, 3 stitches in garter stitch, 112 stitches in stockinette stitch, while marking the middle 2 stitches in the middle of the back, 3 p. garter stitch, chrome. This purl row is not taken into account in subsequent calculations.

At the same time, increase in the next front row, then in each next front row on both sides of the 2 marked middle loops 6 x 1 p. (= knit the front crossed from the transverse thread) = 134 p.

After 26.5 cm = 74 r. from the beginning of knitting the hood, subtract 1 p. from both sides of the 2 marked middle loops as follows: knit the last 2 loops before the marked loops together with a slant to the left (= 1 p. slip off like a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop ), knit the first 2 stitches after the marked stitches together. Repeat this decrease 3 more times in every 4th row = 126 sts.

Then, in every 2nd row, decrease 3 x 2 stitches on both sides of the marked stitches. To do this, on the last 4 stitches before the mark, knit 2 x 2 stitches together with a slant to the left, on the first 4 stitches after the mark, knit 2 x 2 stitches together with the knit stitch = 114 stitches.

After 33.5 cm = 94 r. From the beginning of knitting the hood, divide the work in the middle, fold both halves with the wrong side inward and connect 1 stitch of the first half with the corresponding loop of the second half using a knitted seam.

Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
