knitted pullover

An openwork jumper with wide sleeves is knitted from the bottom up using DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk yarn. Sizes: S – XXXL

Dimensions: S – M – L – XL – XXL – XXXL

pattern

Yarn DROPS BRUSHED ALPACA SILK (77% alpaca, 23% silk, 140m/25g)
150-150-175-200-200-225 g, color 17, light lavender
Spokes:
Circular knitting needles 5 mm, line length 40 and 80 cm.
Circular knitting needles 4.5 mm, line length 40 cm.
Double needles 5 mm.
To knit in the round, you can use the MAGIC LOOP technique; in this case, you will need circular knitting needles with 80 cm fishing line of all specified sizes.

Knitting density:
17 stitches and 22 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
1 repeat A.2 (13 loops) - this is approx. 6.5 cm wide
Note! The knitting needle sizes are given as a guideline. If there are too many stitches in a 10cm knitted pattern, use larger needles. If there are too few stitches in the 10 cm sample, take smaller needles.

EXPLANATIONS FOR KNITTING:

shawl knitting (knitting in rotary rows):
Knit all rows with facial stitches.
1 edge of garter stitch in height = 2 rows of knit stitches.

shawl knitting (knitting in the round):
1 edge of garter stitch in height = 2 rounds, 1 round of knit stitches and 1 round of purl stitches.

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 – A.6. The diagrams show all the rows as they look on the front side of the work.

PERFORMANCE OF DECREASES:
Decrease 1 loop on each side of the marker like this: knit until there are 3 loops left before the marker, knit 2 stitches together with a slant to the right, knit 2 (the marker will remain between these 2 loops), knit 2 loops together knitted with a slant to the left = 2 loops decreased.

KNITTING DESCRIPTION:
JUMPER, brief description of work:
Knit front and back from bottom to top in turning rows on circular needles. Knit sleeves on short circular/hosiery knitting needles, from top to bottom - first the sleeve cap in turning rows, then the rest of the sleeve in the round. Sew the parts together, tie the neckline at the end and bind off the loops with the picot.

BACK:
Cast on 103-111-117-129-139-149 stitches using 5mm circular needles.

Knit 2 ribs in garter stitch (see instructions for knitting).

Then knit 1 row with knit stitches on the right side of the work and evenly decrease 8-8-8-10-10-10 stitches = 95-103-109-119-129-139 stitches.

Knit 1 row with purl stitches, knit edge stitches with garter stitch.

Knit the next front row like this:

Dimensions SM And L:
1 garter stitch, 5-6-6 stockinette stitches, pattern A.1, then 10-12-14 stockinette stitches, * chart A.2, 5-6-7 stockinette stitches *, repeat between stars for a total 2 times, pattern A.2, 10-12-14 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.3, 5-6-6 stitches in stockinette stitch, 1 stitch in garter stitch.

Dimensions XLXXL And XXXL:
1 garter stitch, 9-11-13 stockinette stitches, pattern A.2, 12-14-16 stockinette stitches, * chart A.2, 5-6-7 stockinette stitches *, repeat stitches between stars 2 total times, pattern A.2, 12-14-16 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.2, 9-11-13 stitches in stockinette stitch, 1 stitch in garter stitch.

Continue knitting according to the patterns in turning rows. WATCH THE DENSITY OF KNITTING!

When the piece measures 28-29-30-31-32-33 cm (measured from the cast-on edge where the wave goes down), bind off the stitches for the armholes at the beginning of each row on both sides like this: cast off 3 stitches 1-1-1- 1-2-2 times, 2 loops 2-3-3-4-4-6 times and 1 loop 4-4-5-6-6-6 times = 73-77-81-85-89-91 loops left . Note: when the decreases go to A.1/A.2/A.3, knit the rest of the stitches in stockinette stitch.

When the piece measures 45-47-49-51-53-55 cm, bind off the middle 29-29-31-31-33-33 stitches for the neck and finish knitting the shoulders separately. Note: when the decreases go to A.2, knit the rest of the stitches in stockinette stitch.

Next row cast off 2 stitches from neck side = 20-22-23-25-26-27 shoulder stitches remain.

When the piece measures 46-48-50-52-54-56 cm, knit all stitches in stockinette stitch. Close the loops a little loosely when the piece measures 48-50-52-54-56-58 cm.

Knit the second shoulder as well.

BEFORE:
Cast on the same number of stitches as for the back. Knit the same as the back, to a height of 42-44-45-47-48-50 cm.

Then slip middle 23-23-25-25-27-27 stitches onto neck holder and finish shoulders separately.

At the beginning of each row, close the loops on the neck side like this: bind off 2 loops 1 time and 1 loop 3 times = 20-22-23-25-26-27 loops remain. Note: when the decreases go to A.2, knit the rest of the stitches in stockinette stitch.

When the piece measures 46-48-50-52-54-56 cm, knit all stitches in stockinette stitch. Close the loops a little loosely when the piece measures 48-50-52-54-56-58 cm. Knit the second shoulder the same way.

SLEEVES:
Knit from top to bottom.

Slightly loosely cast on 23-25-25-25-27-27 stitches using 5mm circular needles.

The first row (front) is knitted like this: 5-6-6-6-7-7 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.2, 5-6-6-6-7-7 stitches in stockinette stitch.

Continue knitting the pattern in turning rows and at the same time cast on new loops to form the sleeve cap at the end of each row, on both sides (knit new loops in stockinette stitch): cast on 3 loops 1 time on each side, 2 loops 3-3-3- 4-4-4 times each side, 1 loop 2-3-2-2-2-4 times each side, 2 loops 3-3-3-3-4-4 times each side and then 3 loops 1 -1-2-2-2-2 times each side = 63-67-71-75-81-85 sts.

The part is approx. 9-10-10-11-12-14 cm from the cast-on edge.

Then close the knitting in a circle and switch to short circular knitting needles 5 mm, knit the rest of the sleeve in the round.

Place 1 marker in the middle of the round, this is the middle of the bottom of the sleeve.

Continue knitting in stockinette stitch and according to pattern A.2 on middle 13 stitches.

When 4-4-4-2-2-1 cm are knitted from the beginning of the circular knitting, decrease 1 loop on each side of the marker (see explanations for knitting).

Decrease every 4-3½-3-2½-2-2 cm, for a total of 9-10-11-12-14-15 times = 45-47-49-51-53-55 stitches.

When the sleeve measures 47-47-47-44-44-44 cm from the cast-on edge (from the top of the sleeve cap), evenly add 12-12-12-14-14-14 stitches (6-6-6-7- 7-7 loops on both sides of A.2, A.2 knit as before) = 57-59-61-65-67-69 loops.

Knit the next round like this:

Dimensions SM And L:
2-3-4 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.1, then pattern A.2 3 times, pattern A.3 and 2-3-4 stitches in stockinette stitch.

Continue knitting according to the patterns. When A.1, A.2 and A.3 are knitted 1 time in height, knit the next round row like this: 2-3-4 stitches in stockinette stitch, A.4, then A.5 3 times, A.6, 2 -3-4 stitches in stockinette stitch.

When A.4, A.4 and A.6 are worked 1 time in height, knit the first 2 rounds of A.4b, A.5b and A.6b = 65-67-69 stitches.

Dimensions XLXXL And XXXL:
0-1-2 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.2 5 times, 0-1-2 stitches in stockinette stitch.

Continue knitting according to the pattern. When A.2 is knitted 1 time in height, knit the next round like this: 0-1-2 stitches in stockinette stitch, pattern A.5 5 times, 0-1-2 stitches in stockinette stitch.

Once A.5 is worked high, work A.5b 2 times high, then repeat first 2 rounds of A.5b = 75-77-79 stitches.

All sizes:
Work 2 garter stitch ribs on all stitches. Close the loops a little loosely as knit stitches. Sleeve length – approx. 55 cm for all sizes, measured from the top of the sleeve.

Knit the second sleeve as well.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew shoulder seams. Sew side seams. Sew in the sleeves.

TIPPING THE NECK WITH “PICO”:
Starting at the shoulder seam, pick up 78-88 stitches along the right side of the work along the entire neckline (including the stitches from the holder on the front) using short 4.5 mm circular needles.

Knit 1 circular row with purl stitches, then 1 circular row with knit stitches, 1 circular row with purl stitches, 1 circular row with knit stitches and 1 circular row with purl stitches.

Bind off the stitches using picot like this: k1, * insert the right needle between the first 2 stitches on the left needle, make 1 yarn over on the right needle, pull out a loop and throw it on the left needle *, repeat the steps between the stars 2 more times (= 3 new loops on the left needle), knit and bind off 6 loops at the same time (= 1st loop on the right needle + 3 yarn overs + 2 loops). Continue to yarn over and cast off 6 stitches at a time until there are no stitches left to make a new picot, cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining stitches.
