A strong coat with a comfortable cut that hides figure flaws and attracts attention with a simple but effective pattern. For warmth and comfort, the model has a hood.

You will need:yarn (50% merino wool, 50% polyacrylic; 85 m/50 g) – 450 g ruby red; knitting needles No. 7; circular knitting needles No. 5, 40 cm long.
Rubber A:
Alternately knit 2, purl 2.
Rubber B:
Alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.
Main pattern:
Knit according to the given pattern, rapport = 15 sts, repeat in height from the 1st to the 16th row. The exact distribution of loops is given in the instructions.

On needles No. 7, cast on 62 sts and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm = 11 r. rib A, starting with a purl row.
Next, knit with the main pattern, while in the 1st row. in the middle add 1 stitch = 63 stitches: chrome, repeat rapport 4 times = 15 stitches between arrows, finish 1 stitch after the left arrow, chrome.
After 11 cm = 20 r. from the bottom bar, add 1 st on both sides to fit, then add in every 2nd p. another 32 times 1 p., gradually include added loops in the main pattern = 129 p.
After 32 r. = 17.5 cm from the last increase, close on both sides for sleeve and shoulder bevels 1 time, 4 sts, then in every 2nd r. 10 more times, 5 p.
After 22 r. = 12 cm from the beginning of the sleeve bevels, leave the middle 21 stitches of the neckline on the auxiliary needle.
Left shelf:
On knitting needles No. 7, cast on 37 sts and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm = 11 r. rib A, starting with a purl row.
Next knit as follows: chrome, repeat rapport 2 times = 15 sts between arrows, 1 st after the left arrow, 4 sts of elastic band B, chrome.
After 20 r. from the bottom bar, add 1 stitch from the right edge to fit, then add in every 2nd row. another 32 times 1 p., gradually include added loops in the main pattern = 70 p.
Sleeve and shoulder bevels are made from the right edge, as on the back.
Simultaneously with the beginning of the bevel of the sleeve, leave the first 5 stitches of the neckline on the auxiliary needle from the left edge, then close in every 2nd row. 1 time 3 p., 2 times 2 p. and 4 times 1 p.


Right shelf:
Knit symmetrically to the left front.
Assembly:
Sew sleeve seams and shoulder seams.
On the straight sections of the armholes, cast on 38 sts on needles No. 7 and knit with elastic band A, and after the edging. start with k1, p2. After 34 r. From casting on, loosely close all loops. Sew sleeve seams and side seams.
Using knitting needles No. 7 for the hood, re-slip the remaining 21 sts of the back neckline and the 5 remaining loops of both fronts; between these loops, cast on 18 sts and 19 sts along the edge of the neck = 68 sts. Distribute the loops as follows: edge, 4 sts. elastic band B, 58 p. elastic band A, 4 p. elastic band B, chrome.
After 42 r. from the set of loops, leave the first 7 sts and the last 22 sts of the hood = side parts on the auxiliary knitting needles, continue working on the middle 24 sts and knit with elastic band A, while for the acute angled tip of the hood in each row, knit the last 2 loops of the middle part in the front row together with the front one tilted to the left, and in the wrong row with the wrong side together.

Continue decreasing in this manner until the loops on both sides of the hood are used. After this, loosely, according to the pattern, close 24 sts of the middle part.
