Olive openwork pullover is knitted. This excellent model combines four types of openwork.
Dimensions: 38/40 (42/44) 46/48
You will need: yarn (40% viscose, 30% cotton, 20% linen, 10% polyamide; 125 m/50 g) - 500 (550) 600 g olive; knitting needles No. 4; hook No. 3.5.
Pattern 1: garter stitch = knit and purl rows - knit stitches.
Pattern 2: front stitch = front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.
Patterns 3-6 include: When making increases and decreases, make sure that the number of yarn overs and loops knitted together inside the pattern always matches.
Pattern 3: openwork pattern A (the number of loops is a multiple of 3 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) = knit accordingly. diagram 1. It shows the facial rows. In purl rows, purl all loops and yarn overs. Start with 1 edge stitch and loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with loops after the repeat and 1 edge stitch.
Perform 1-6th rows once, then constantly repeat 3-6th rows.
Pattern 4: openwork pattern B (odd number of loops) = knit according to. diagram 2. It shows the facial rows. In purl rows, knit all stitches and yarn overs.
Perform 1 time 1-12th r.
Pattern 5: openwork pattern C (the number of loops is a multiple of 10 + 6 + 2 edge loops) = knit according to. diagram 3. It shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit all the loops and yarn overs purlwise, out of 2 yarn overs in a row, knit the 1st yarn over, purl the 2nd yarn over, and cross over the 2nd yarn over.
Perform 1-18th rows once, then constantly repeat 7-18th rows.
Pattern 6: openwork pattern D (the number of loops is a multiple of 4 + 2 edge loops) = knit according to. diagram 4. It shows the facial rows. In the purl rows, knit loops according to the pattern or acc. instructions. Start with 1 edge, repeat the rapport constantly, finish with 1 edge.
Perform 1-8th rows once, then constantly repeat 5-8th rows.
Knitting density:
pattern 3 - 23.5 p. x 34 r. = 10 x 10 cm;
pattern 4 - 23.5 p. x 34 r. = 10 x 10 cm;
pattern 5 - 25.5 p. x 33 r. = 10 x 10 cm;
pattern 6 - 24.5 p. x 33.5 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Description of knitting an openwork pullover
Back: cast on the knitting needles 107 (115) 123 sts and for the bottom bar between the edges knit 4 r. pattern 1, while in the last purl row evenly add 4 (5) 6 sts = 111 (120) 129 sts.
Continue working with pattern 3. At the same time, add on both sides for side bevels in every 6th row. from the bottom bar 3 x 1 p. according to the pattern = 117 (126) 135 p.
After 6.5 cm = 22 r. From the bottom bar, knit further as follows: 1 cm = 4 r. pattern 4, while in the 1st row. evenly add 0 (1) 2 p. = 117 (127) 137 p. and in the 4th p. Purl all the loops and yarn overs, then knit another 3 cm = 10 r. pattern 4; further knit 20 cm = 66 r. pattern 5, while in the 1st r. evenly add 11 p. = 128 (138) 148 p.; 3.5 cm = 12 rub. pattern 4, while in the 1st row. evenly decrease 11 p. = 117 (127) 137 p.; 6.5 cm = 22 rub. pattern 3, while in the 1st row. evenly decrease 0 (1) 2 p. = 117 (126) 135 p.; 1 cm = 4 r. pattern 4, while in the 1st row. evenly add 0 (1) 2 p. = 117 (127) 137 p.
Continue working with pattern 6, while in the 1st row. evenly add 5 (7) 5 p. = 122 (134) 142 p. After 15.5 cm = 52 r. from the last change of pattern, close all the loops, with the middle 62 (66) 70 sts forming the neck, the outer 30 (34) 36 sts forming the shoulders.
Before: knit like a back, but after 11.5 cm = 38 r. from the last change of pattern, close the middle 32 (36) 40 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. To round the inner edge, close in every 2nd r. 1 x 6 p., 1 x 4 p., 1 x 3 p. and 2 x 1 p. At the height of the back, close off the remaining 30 (34) 36 p. of the shoulder.
Sleeves: cast on the knitting needles for each sleeve 59 (67) 75 p. and for the strap between the edges knit 0.5 cm = 2 r. pattern 1. Continue working with pattern 4.
After 3.5 cm = 12 r. From the bar, knit further with pattern 5, while in the 1st r. evenly add 9 (11) 13 p. = 68 (78) 88 p.
After 9.5 cm = 32 r. from changing the pattern, add 1 x 1 p. on both sides for bevels, then in every 4th p. 12 x 1 p. according to the pattern = 94 (104) 114 p. After 25.5 cm = 84 r. before changing the pattern, close all the loops.
Assembly: sew shoulder seams. Tie 1 circle around the edge of the neckline. R. Art. b/n and 1 circle. R. “crawfish step” (= st. b/n, perform in the direction from left to right). Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
