Raglan jacket with a pattern of “Leaves”

A voluminous pattern in the form of openwork “leaves” accents the upper part of the jacket with raglan lines, as well as the lower half of the sleeves. But even ordinary stockinette stitch and ribbed stitch look lovely here thanks to the silver lurex thread connected to wool yarn.

You will need: yarn 1 (100% wool; 150 m/50 g) – 400 (450) g white; yarn 2 (80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester; 100 m / 25 g) – 300 (325) g silver; knitting needles No. 6; circular knitting needles No. 6; 5 buttons with a diameter of 20 mm.

Attention: knit only with double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn).

 Pattern 1: elastic band (odd number of loops).

Front rows: edge, alternately 1 front, 1 purl, finish 1 front, edge.

 Purl rows; knit loops according to the pattern.

If there is an even number of loops between the edges, knit 1 knit and 1 purl alternately.

Pattern 2: front stitch - front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Pattern 3: pattern of “leaves” (the number of loops is a multiple of 10 + 1 + 2 edge loops) knit according to. scheme.

It shows only the facial rows; in the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern, knit the yarn overs purl.

 Start with loops in front of the right arrow, constantly repeat the repeat of 10 sts between the arrows and end with loops after the left arrow.

Perform 1-22nd rows once, then constantly repeat 3-22nd rows.

Left shelf: Using a double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 43 (48) sts on the knitting needles and for the bottom bar knit 6 cm with pattern 1.

After 28.5 cm = 68 p. from the bottom bar, close along the right edge for the armhole 1 x 11 p. Close the loops according to the drawing.

To bind the neckline with double thread (= 1 thread of each type of yarn), cast on 95 p. on circular knitting needles along the edge of the neckline and the ends of the front strips and knit 3 cm = 7 r. pattern 1, while 1.5 cm from the set of loops make the last hole for the button (= knit the 3rd and 4th stitches together, 1 yarn over).

Close the loops according to the drawing. Sew side seams and sleeve seams. Sew buttons.
