DOUBLE LOOP
At the beginning of the row (after turning), lay the thread before work, insert the knitting needle from the front side into the 1st stitch and remove the loop along with the thread. Then pull the thread back strongly, as a result the loop will be put on the knitting needle and you will get a double loop. In the next row, knit both parts of the double loop together according to the pattern - knit or purl.
shawl stitch
In circular rows: alternately knit 1 row with knits, 1 row with purls.
KNITTING DENSITY (AVERAGE)
OK. 18 p. x approx. 27 rub. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with the main pattern on needles No. 4.5.
ATTENTION!
The product is knitted from top to bottom, starting from the neckline, and due to increases and decreases, the pattern has the shape of a triangle.
Make sure that the density of your knitting corresponds to the specified one (if necessary, change the number of knitting needles).
COMPLETING OF THE WORK
Using a red thread, cast on 144 sts and close it in a ring.
Mark the beginning of the round (= between back and front).
Knit one circular row with an elastic band, start with 1 knit, knit * 2 purl, 2 knit *, from * to * constantly repeat and finish with 1 knit, distribute the loops, marking 2 stitches each (for increases) as follows: 1 marked loop, 34 front stitches, 2 marked loops, 34 front stitches, 2 marked loops, 34 back stitches, 2 marked loops, 34 back stitches, 1 marked loop.
Perform the work according to the sequence of patterns and colors.
At the same time, on both sides of the marked loops in the 2nd circular row, add 1 knit stitch from the transverse thread. Perform this increase 3 more times in each next 2nd round row = 176 sts.
After 3 cm = 10 circular rows from the cast-on row, divide the work to design the armholes.
Next, knit the front and back separately in rows in the forward and reverse directions = 88 stitches each.
On both sides of the 2 middle loops in each next 2nd row, continue to make increases, and from the right and left working edges, decrease 1 p. The number of loops remains the same until the height is 9 cm = 24 rows from the elastic band and now perform the bevel of the armholes with on both sides there is only an increase, that is, there is no need to decrease any more at the edges of the loop - to approximately a height of 20 (22) cm from the elastic band = 116 (122) sts.
Next, knit the front and back together again in circular rows = 232 (244) sts.
Mark 2 stitches on both sides (= loops that were edge stitches).
In the middle of the front and back, increases are made as before, on the sides, respectively, decreases are made (= knit the 1st marked loop together with the previous knit stitch, slip the 2nd marked loop like a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop) . Knit in this way until the last 4 circular rows are knitted with gold thread = approximately 103 cm from the elastic.
Then, with a red thread, knit 1 more circular row with knit stitches, performing increases and decreases, and 1 circular row with knit stitches without increases or decreases.
Next, use red thread to knit triangles on the sides in an openwork pattern in short rows. To do this, start with 4 side loops (= 2 stitches from each edge). In every 2nd row, knit 2 stitches more on both sides, and when you reach the edge, perform 1 double loop on each side and turn the work.
Knit in this way until the 1st stitch of the mid-front line is reached.
Knit the 2nd side triangle in the same way.
Finally, using red thread on size 3 circular needles, knit 4 more circular rows in garter stitch on all stitches.
Then loosely close the loops.
ASSEMBLY
Using red thread on circular needles No. 3, evenly pick up 80 (88) stitches along the edge of the armholes and knit 4 circular rows in stockinette stitch. Then loosely close the loops.
