Top with openwork back

Knitted top with a lace back in shaped yarn made from recycled cotton. The pattern is simple, but looks very impressive.

You will need; Katia Milos fancy yarn (40% recycled cotton, 40% recycled polyester, 20% polyester; 85 m/50 g) -5 (6) 7 (7) skeins milky (No. 80); knitting needles No. 4.5; hook number 4.

Knitting density: stockinette stitch (knitting needles No. 4.5) – 18 sts x 22 r. = 10x10 cm;
openwork pattern – 15p. x 22 rub. = 10x10cm.

Back: on knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 67 (75) 83 (91) sts and knit 2 rows. garter stitch, continue knitting in an openwork pattern according to the pattern. After 37 cm from the initial row, close the loops.

Before: on knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 80 (90) 100 (110) sts and knit 2 r. garter stitch, continue knitting in stockinette stitch

After 37 cm from the initial row, decrease for armholes on both sides in the front rows at a distance of 2 sts from the edge in each next 2nd r. 8 x 2 p., 4 x 1 p. (9 x 2 p., 4 x 1 p.) 12 x 2 p., 2 x 1 p. (13 x 2 p., 2 x 1 p.) = 40 (46) 48 (54) p.

After 11 (12) 13 (14) cm from the beginning of the armholes, close the loops.

Assembly: Sew all seams using a mattress stitch.

Finish: Along the upper edge of the front and back, crochet number 4 crochet 1 r. from 142 (160) 176 (194) art. b/n, then 1 r. "crawfish step" Cut the thread and thread the end.

Straps: on knitting needles No. 4.5, dial 123 (123) 131 (131) sts. Knit 2 r. garter stitch and 8 r. openwork pattern according to the diagram, close the loops. Make the second strap in the same way. Sew the edges of the straps with closed loops along the entire length of the front. Sew the other end of the straps to the top of the back (see pattern and photos).
