Pullover with flares
Dimensions: 38/40 (42/44)
You will need: yarn (93% cotton, 7% polyamide; 100 m/50 g) - 600 (700) g gray-blue; knitting needles No. 5; circular knitting needles No. 4.5.
Patterns
Pattern 1: bar pattern (the number of loops is a multiple of 20 + 1 (9) + 2 edge stitches) = knit according to pattern 1. It shows the front rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern or according to the diagram, knit the yarn overs purlwise.
For size 1, start with 1 edge, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with a loop to the arrow and 1 edge.
For size 2, start with 1 edge stitch and loops before the repeat, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with loops after the repeat and 1 edge stitch.
Repeat rows 1-4 constantly.
Pattern 2: purl stitch = knit rows - purl loops, purl rows - knit stitches.
Pattern 3: openwork pattern (the number of loops is a multiple of 20 + 1 (9) + 2 edge stitches) = knit according to pattern 2. It shows the front and back rows. Start with 1 edge stitch, 0 (4) stitches with pattern 2, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with a loop after the repeat, 0 (4) stitches with pattern 2 and 1 edge stitch.
Constantly repeat rows 1-32.
Emphasized decreases: right edge = edge, knit 2 stitches together with a slant to the left (slip 1 loop as a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop); left edge = knit according to the pattern until the last 3 stitches, knit 2 stitches together, knit stitch, edge stitch.
Knitting density:
pattern 1 - 17 p. x 30 r. = 10 x 10 cm;
pattern 3 - 20.5 p. x 23 r. = 10 x 10 cm.
Please note: due to the different knitting densities, the trims are slightly flared. This is shown in the pattern as a bevel.
Description of knitting
Back:
cast on 103 (111) stitches on the knitting needles and knit 10 cm = 30 rows with pattern 1. Continue working with pattern 3.
After 47 cm = 108 rows (45 cm = 104 rows) from the bar, close off for the armholes on both sides with 1 x 10 (14) loops = 83 loops.
After 62.5 cm = 144 rows from the bar, close off the middle 39 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately.
After 65 cm = 150 rows from the bar, bind off the remaining 22 shoulder loops.
Before:
knit like a back, but for the neckline, after 47 cm = 108 rows from the bar, divide the work after 42 loops and finish both sides separately, with the last loop of the left half of the front becoming the edge stitch; for the right half of the front, add 1 edge along the inner edge = 42 stitches each.
To bevel the neckline along the inner edge, subtract 20 x 1 stitches in every 2nd row.
Sleeves:
Cast on 63 (71) stitches for each sleeve and knit 10 cm = 30 rows with pattern 1. Continue working with pattern 3.
After 44.5 cm = 102 rows from the bar, bind off all the loops.
Assembly:
sew shoulder seams.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
